Remember that Deku is narrating the story from the future. He's definitely talking to and telling this story to a character in the series. Because he's so open about OFA and all of the details surrounding it I believe he's either telling this to HIS successor, or he's so open about it because like you said, quirks don't exist anymore so there is no reason to hide the secrets of OFA. Just my little thought.
I'm starting to think Deku won't have a successor. Would be cool if does of course but OFA is already so powerful, by the end of Deku's hero career he'll be invincible. Maybe the quirk (even at the lower % output) will surpass what any person can take

@@TurtleQuirk It depends on the successors body. All Might handled it perfectly and was able to use 100% almost immediately WHILE still keeping the damage to a city to a minimum. You are also overestimating the strength difference between two OFA users.

Literally every anime : shows the main character/main characters has aged and matured by making their hair shorter and less defined.

James Baxter if he takes their quirks it’ll have the same effects as if they were born quirkless, the child would not have any DNA that matches with their parents old quirks. So the child SHOULD theoretically be born quirkless.

The Quirk Singularity theory has me thinking what if the actual ending of MHA is everyone loses their quirks so they could live in peace.

The only way to guarantee a truly peaceful world without uncontrollable quirks, is to end all quirks

You are right but I do think that when time pass technology will evolve as well and from what i remember in episode 16 or 17 the shiketsu guy was aware of it so they probably working on solutions we don't know, you might say that quirk singularity can't be changed but that's the current mindset but in the future it might not be impossible for cure to appear so in the future there will be a way to tame uncontrollable quirks. So basically what I am saying is that deku is the perfect example of Quirk singularity and deku managed to tame it so instead of people having control over there Quirk in a short time, the opposite will happen people will take more time.

Here's a really good fanfiction for my hero Academia called "quirkless Rejects" if you do read fanfiction I suggest giving it a try it starts up interesting and ends with that idea.

While I can somewhat agree with this theory, there are several things that just wouldn't make sense. To start off, humanity has developed and gotten rid of many, many different attributes or physical manifestations that have helped us survive the now 5+ millennium that we are aware of that humanity has existed. For instance, there is a tendon in your arm if you make a fist and then roll your wrist toward you. It will pop up. Right now, people who are apart of the next evolutionary stage of humanity will find that they do not have this. Another are different organs we still have in our bodies. Everyone has kidneys right? But if they are essential, then why is it so easy for us to get rid of at least one, as it is still somewhat dangerous to get rid of both. That's because in our history, they kept us from dying out because we would eat uncooked or undercooked meats.
Now, if this is the case that the signularity theory is real and is going to happen, it would ruin everything that MHA has been building up to. It would make All For One the hero and One for All the villain, because AFO would be saving humanity by slowly collecting quirks from everyone.
Secondly, we all know the author is a HUGE fan of Star Wars (this is another reason this guy is so awesome, Star Wars is life haha). After order 66 is carried out, many Jedi are killed. With the war coming up, we can expect to lose a lot of heroes. Most likely, at least 2 pro heroes associated to UA High will die and at least 5 to 8 of the top 10 will die as well. But also, this is when heroes will retreat for some time, and in that time our class 1A and their generation will come of age and go to war once again to defeat the League of Villains once and for all. This will mean more heroes will die, possibly All Might, just like Nighteye said he would.
But in the end, like I stated previously. Even after defeating the League of Villains, the singularity issue will possibly be addressed. And in this time, we will see that while quirks become more powerful and more potent, so will society. Right now, humanity is being threatened by a virus that has claimed over 10k lives, just in Italy alone. But just like the Black Death or Spanish Flu or whatever else has come before COVID-19, it'll disappear. We have no clue to what happened to the Black Death, a popular theory is that humanity evolved because of it. Because of so much exposure to the disease back then, our bodies built up our immune systems and those children that were born and survived from the Black Death, were the next evolution of humanity.
Now, this is all just speculation, but much like our current situation in our world, I believe the world of MHA will surely take heavy casualties from quirks evolving and adapting, but then so will humanity. COVID-19 will hopefully die out because it spread too quickly and our world was smart enough to take action quickly (well mostly, hopefully). Quirks will go out of control, just like when Eri lost control for the very first time and rewound her father into nothingness, but that didn't kill Eri. Deku could have been destroyed by receiving One for All, but through rigorous training and maintaining a strict and healthy lifestyle, he has grown to adapt and control his borrowed turned own quirk and has learned how not to break his bones every time. (I said EVERY TIME).
I do personally believe, after looking through actual history and realistic evolution and finally through a normal, successful story progression that has become famous because of its multifaceted style of writing, I believe that the quirk singularity theory isn't entirely true, as it can happen, but it won't destroy or wipe out humanity. That would make for an anticlimactic ended and would disgrace our writer in his profession. The anime, Charlotte, does this, removing all special powers, but it ends in a way that shows there was a cost and there was no other way out of it, and like that anime and Star Wars, they don't have finite endings, but rather more interpretative endings that allow their writers and fans to continue their stories if they want to in the later future. Star Wars is still going so it would make sense that MHA wouldn't end any time soon manga OR anime. My name is Bear and this is my theory. First of all, it's an underrated comment and secondly I can see that happening as humanity has always the chance of evolving also dissolving but in MHA world I can see that people gonna evolve and support course will be more efficient and important, helping people to adapt with quirk singularity. It's literally not possible for all people to give out their quirks. There will be a war if it's forcibly done. I think that's not a ultimate option. And if it the heroes won't have their quirks too

What you are saying is as quirks become more and more powerful, the human body will also evolve to adapt it and also, scientists and humanity will take action if it were to happen. I agree with it, but theres a problem. The problem is evolution takes a lot of time. For example, in the last thousand of years, humans haven't really evolved. It's true that medical science is now very advance. But it has its own pace. The world of MHA and the awakening of quirks probably began about 200+/- years or so(All For One was from the first generation of quirks and he is still alive because of his Quirk which allows him to live 2x the life of a normal human, Dr. Garaki also has it. So AFO must be about 200+/-). And in this 200 year timespan, quirks has evolved this much to the point now you can literally destroy towns with your power or even rewind someone so much that they don't even exist. Quirks are growing fast, but evolution doesn't happen that quickly. As for medical science, it could help. But in the end, quirk singularity will be a real problem. Or atleast that's what I think. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I can see your perspective on how slow human evolution is in reality and so it could possibly be that slow in MHA, but I also have my own little personal theory that if quirk evolution is so rapidly evolving, then quirks HAVE to be having some sort of impact on natural evolution as well. I mean, imagine quirks that transform one's own body to resemble an animal or mythical creature. Or quirks that have to have tons of impact on one's mental or physical prowess. For Bakugo, he has a nitroglycerin-like quirk. A normal human body wouls be burned to a crisp, like a literal 1st degree burn by using that quirk so much. Or what about Tenya and his family's speed quirk. We see that Tenya is faster than trains and cars. Hellflame, while has burned Dabi a lot, hasn't killed him. Blue fire is the worst level and should be able to incinerate a human body in a few minutes, so by all accounts Dabi and anyone who uses a quirk like Hellflame shouldn't even be able to exist. The quirk One of All, has so much brute strength, your body shouldn't even be able to contain or withstand it.
I remember in the very beginning, All Might explained how if he took OFA right away, it would immediately destroy Deku. But after 10 months of some seriously hardcore traininy, and Deku continues his physical and mental training every day, I think that humanity must have some inherent ability to increase evolution in their world. There has to be a reason quirks evolved to exist in the first place, and continue to evolve and exist without detroying their hosts. Also, if you look. Their is an actual evidence of physical evolution atm. If you look at the underside of your arm, people who haven't yet evolved have would have tendons I think they are, that push up when you make a fist and roll your wrist towards you. But those of us that have evolved past that point no longer have them.

I feel like this ending makes the most sense. However, they're a few issues I see with this. First off if people have to have their quirks removed and don't want them removed nor are heroes, that could open up a situation where people start rioting about how unfair it is that only heroes can keep their powers, which would turn more people against the heroes and society as a whole against each other in favor of keeping their quirks. Also, are we sure that the quirk destruction bullets work against mutated quirks, if I'm not wrong their bodies are permanently the way they are and they can't be turned off, so mutant type quirks would just pass down.
You're right there would be people angry about it - all depends on how the erasure of quirks is executed. If it's forcefully done on children then people will get mad, but if it's (to begin with) given to everyone who doesn't get a hero licence by a certain age, then you can ease it into society in an acceptable way. Also, mutant type quirks are a tricky one. Some mutants have additional emitter quirks that can be turned off, like Mina and Tokoyami. For the others, I don't know what would happen with them

well, im not sure here but wouldn't Mirio's quirk be a mutation one, since hes not really emitting anything and only his body can do permeation, it seems to me like quirks that only affect the users body would be considered a mutation quirk, and Mirio had his quirk deleted soooooo....

Also remember how when All for One first emerged he took quirks away from people who didn't watch them so that's not far off to what was mentioned as a solution at the end of this video.

He's neither. Dekus dad is what's called a "Salary-man". Once you become an adult as a man in Japanese society it's more or less expected from you to work in your job as long as humanly possible. That's no exageration, this is part of the reason why Japans birth-rates tanked because a lot of young men either A. Don't have the time to find a woman to marry and have kids or B.: Don't want to marry because they do not have so much time for themselves as it is.
I know legit someone who grew up in Japan and only saw his father around Christmas for allmost a decade despite them living in the same house.

I do think that point singularity could be solved in the Future so i know what you are thinking how it is impossible to solve it but just like in Avatar the last air bender, metal bending was considered to be impossible but Toph managed to find a solution so just like the old guy said "you are blinding yourself to the possibility" so what i am trying to get from this is that there is nothing impossible it just like turtle quirk said with the presence of the quirk it slowed the progression of technology but i do think that people by now will start to be aware of the danger of extinction of humanity and the danger of quirks that will poses and will start to find solutions to solve just like All Might best friend Dave found a solution to help all might boost his quirk without affecting his cells he might find a solution against quirk singularity or to even slow it.
but bending itself always had the same level of power, even when new bending was discovered. even the avatars and certain masters even with sozen's comet could only bend to a certain degree. in mha the power of quirks will get stronger and stronger and stronger WHILE discovering new quirks
@@asianpersuasion4901 I know but what I am trying to say from it that in the future they will find solution or to adapt to it just like in the first generation when Quirk was still new people were afraid of it but they found a way to adapt to it.
The theory about quirks are evolving and getting too powerful for humans had me thinking that one day, someone with a similar quirk to AFO will take everyone's quirks for good like Charlotte.

I think it said in the manga that his quirk was the first one to be noticed, but it's been some time since I read that part so I'm not really sure anymore. But I don't think that others developed quirks because of him, he was probably just the first one.

Sort of. We know that quirks are growing faster than the body can handle.. so for the ‘hardware’ to catch up to the ‘software’ of quirks, something would need to speed up human evolution OR slow down quirk evolution (on a worldwide scale). I’m not sure what could do that

@Kareena N theres most likely going to be a sequel when you think about it, like Naruto Shippuden, and Kohei Horikoshi said its impossible to finish the manga by volume 30 (Currently 26, feb 16 2020)so we still have an estimated amount of like 40+ chapters.

Maybe some day a persons quirk-gene is full, that would mean that they and their children wouldn't get any stronger because there's no more room for gene expansions or improvements. There would still be combinations of quirks, but way weaker ones than there are now in the series, since a person would just get two half, less powerful quirks from their parents. That would solve the problem presented in the video and even make quirks less powerful over time. In the end its just an Anime, so lets see how this quirk-problem will be solved.
well, if quirks work the same way as normal gene evolution sadly without human interaction that would be impossible
@@soleterraandluna8828 Not impossible, just very hard to archieve and pretty unlikely. At some point the quirk-DNA would have to store so much information, that it would get to big to store in the cell or to long and complex to duplicate and translate at a paste that would make it useable for the body. A cell has limitations and at some point they'd be reached. Also you have to consider a persons body limitations, at some point Bakugou won't be able to produce more sweat. Since quirks are physical "extentions" of a persons body that will be the case for all quirks. Dont quote me on all of this I'm no biologist, but it's still interesting to think about such fictional thinks like quirks.

Just like how Naruto shocked us with the revelation that Chakra was bestowed upon humanity by Aliens via Kaguya. I believe that Quirks in MHA are also a result of Alien interactions. Similar to how in Marvel Comics the Inhumans are the result of Kree aliens manipulating human genetics to produce mutations that would create “powers and abilities” in those humans and their offspring. This was done by the terragin mist but MHA could have infected mice or some other means.
This theory makes so much more since then all the other Theron I’ve heard especially the part where after the first onslaught that he will have the no my kill the remaining heros

IMO, I just can’t see it ending like that. For me it would make for a really unsatisfying ending. Maybe Eri will develop her quirk to keep everyone in a constant state of reason power or maybe the could use Ujiko’s tech in order to figure something out. Everyone giving up their powers would make for a pretty lame ending imo

What if there's a quirk that just can't be removed no matter what, and if say the user of that quirk gets another quirk the quirk can't be removed because of the other quirk. Nobody would know that the person who has that quirk has that quirk, because if that quirk isn't paired with any other quirk the person who has it would seem quirkless.

I've too been contemplating the quirk singular ordeal and how something has to be done about it Chisaki and the Doctor are crazy nuts but not wrong about something having to be done about it. The only thing I could come up with is Eri' s quirk becoming crazy powerful to rewind the quirk gene out of all humans on earth or a cure spreading with the help of animals orders given by Kouda, of Twice becoming a good guy. Crazy I know.
Chisaki had to drain and refill Eri's power countless times just to send bullets in Japan.
Unless Twice would make a million of Eri copies and send them around the world there's no way it can work.
