If your beardie is not eating their salad. Put some mashed up bee pollen on it. Just sprinkle a little bit on the salad. Or put something red on it they LOVE the color red for some reason. Like strawberries, apples, watermelon. Reminder: Fruit is just once in a while. It’s basically treats. Also do research before putting any other fruit on their plate

🙋🏾 had mine for almost 2 months, its a baby. It was very greedy, fed it all the time. My beardie did a full body shed which was completed September 29th. Since then it stop eating n poop look like water. With a little white. My beardie is now 14grams😥 I called 10 vets and they won't take my beardie. Eyes look sunken now. I give it baths and water through a syringe. Its lighting is fine and so is the uvb light. It was probably the crickets but what am i suppose to do? No vet will take it due to covid.

Help please, I've been ignoring a problem hoping it will go away. I've been to the vet twice and I was told that Gaara has a yeast infection growth. For both visits to the vet bill was roughly $600 dollars. They cut off the yeast infection and sent me home with some instructions. The yeast infection growth on Gaara's side has come back a third time. I can't keep paying for the same issue. I can't find anything online on how to treat Gaara's yeast infection. Please help.

Hi! First, thank you so much 💜 The most important things in preventing metabolic bone disease is having the appropriate UVB light (linear, Reptisun or Arcadia, changed out every 6 months or 1 year) and giving your beardie vitamin and calcium powders with every feeding

I've had my hatchling for about a week now, and he hasn't been eating the crazy amounts everyone talks about, but he also eats some of his greens too, but he'll eat like a dozen dubia roaches a day and about the same with mealworms, I know, people advise against it, but upon further research chitan (kite-an) is actually a form of fiber, so it'll actually help your beardie go, from my research it's bad husbandry that causes impaction and not the mealworms I'm not an expert, but I've been reading scientific studies as well as listening to breeders ect, I'm a week in and I'm still researching like the day I got him, hours and hours of reading and tens of hours of videos from multiple people

@@ellesreptiles Normal dessert sand, calcium sand is never decent imo :) , but i found that most digestive issues come when the sand is eater by leopard gecko's , there its a HUGE issue, a beardy should be able to poop out some sand if he eats it by mistake. :) Altho i guess if it comes down to it and u take the hobby more serious, u gotta go paper towers/newspapers just to keep everything hygenic :)

@@iwanvanmirlo just checking. The issue here is that pet stores push calcium sand, and so many people think that calcium sand is the proper substrate to use. But yes, I agree that loose substrates, such as bioactive mixes including regular sand, are best for beardies and leopard geckos. My leopard gecko loves her bioactive mix, and my beardie will have a bioactive mix soon, when she's upgraded to a 6 ft tank.

This video would be perfect if you had just provided reference photos for all the ailments mentioned. Disappointed.
