- The 1994 to 1995 Mega Man Animated Series Cartoon from Ruby Spears had a small action figure toy line of 5 inch articulated "feature" figures; Fire Missiles and interchangeable arms and canons. I show the second wave of Robot Masters ranging from Mega Man 1, Mega Man 3 , and Mega Man 4
NES Bosses.

These toys inspired my 3D Movie Maker animations. If only I had got to Mega Man 4...and had these toys as a kid. ..the second batch was super rare.
See those here everyone: ua-cam.com/play/PLYmLzFKlT4ZvtjecW5VFvjmtgN1jwDGg6.html
It's wild seeing these so shiny and clean.
I try to show good versions here for any figures I show, this was a lucky find to get them in good shape. Elec Man is the toughest to find it seems.
the drill man and snake man figure look amazing! i love how accurate they are to the game :D
I had them to play with at first and to collect now, and more so for loving the games than the cartoon. So it's great that they mostly followed the artwork from the games.
Some of them on the show were very different in appearance though.
4:22 - I had NO IDEA until watching your videos that a Ruby Spears Elec Man action figure even existed! That is awesome! And they made an arm cannon attachment for him too?! Even though in the game, he just kind of "threw" his Thunder Beam, whereas Mega Man shot it out of his own arm cannon.
He must have had it in the show whichever episodes he was in.
With my CRT TV I didn't even know Elec Man had a mask like that. It was hard to tell the colors apart with such small blurry pixels.
Drill Man looks great.
It's really crazy to think that the Ruby Spears cartoon line had by far the most extensive selection of characters from the old Mega Man series. All other action figure runs for the classic MM games, you'd be lucky to get just one robot master.(usually they'd stop after just doing the main characters) Jada is the first toy company since then that seems to actually be serious about giving us a really good selection of Mega Man's various villains. I hope they go far.
True for the time and a long while after. I just wish they would have finished MM1's in this set at least. It would be fun to jump into the Jada but I am having to keep my collections to retro right now.
These figs were something I could never find when I was a kid. They are so amazing!
I would have killed to have them as a kid, but still fun to get them now too.
They look awesome together. ❤❤❤
Those are cool! Mega Man 2 is my favorite. I also liked Mega Man 11.
Surprising they didn't make any from Mega Man 2 for these. 3 was always my favorite for the dog RUSH.
@@MBXfilmswhy do they hardly ever give us mega man 2 toys? 😢
@@bezoticallyyours83 Not even 1 boss from it, like they were avoiding them. it's the most popular NES one, they really should have made some.
@@MBXfilmsI have a Quick Man from i think Jazwares.
They did make beautifully detailed limited collectors statues of Metal and Air Man, but the price of shipping + import is way too steep.
Fully Charged made an Air Man and he is cool looking...but he doesn't look a thing like Air Man.
Interesting that Jada chose Bubble Man. I mean, I like him personally, but I know he's not as popular as some of the other rm masters.
I'd be over the moon if Jada made Metal and Heat Man.
Getting me super hyper for the potential of the Jada Toys line
Those would be pretty great since they would have proportions like the games and artwork related to the games, more so than these old figures that are designed for the taller bodies of the TV cartoon.
1:18 - Ironic... Mega Man 2's Flash Man had the "Time Stopper" weapon that just froze time in a one-time use until energy ran out... Mega Man 4's Bright Man had the "Flash Stopper" weapon, freezing time briefly and allowing Mega Man to shoot his normal shots during the time freeze.
I had ALL of these as a kid and absolutely loved them......sad part is the ONLY remaining part is the bright man bulb. D'oh
I would loved to have them all and more as a kid, but they are still cool to get now. Pricey to find.
Ahh brings back memories. Mega Man is my favorite video game franchise of all time. Loved the show also. I actually have a lose and sealed complete set of the entire toy line collection along with the Air Raider. Love your videos keep up the great work!! I can’t wait for the Jadatoys collection that’s coming out soon. It should be super sweet!!
Thank you, that's the sort of feeling I'm hoping for, whether you have, had, seen, or have never seen these old toys. Showing them for the interest of any passer by. Mega Man games are for sure my most played on NES, though I don't think I can jump down the money sink of a giant Jada toy line, though it does look beautiful. I'll stick to these old classics for now.
Can u help me find an eleckman still on card??? It's been impossible!!!
I never saw these in stores, would have been all over them as a kid.
I was lucky to find the first batch once only, but never saw these. They were pricey to hunt down but it's a great group to have now.
What a blast from the past! Pretty sure I had snake man as a kid , but not positive. Planning on picking up the Jada Toys Mega Man line and hope they make a Snake Man cause he’s my favorite robot master outside of the first game.
I wasn't going to get them but it's too tempting, I will likely be showing them here ha ha ha.
A full set of Mega Man 3 bosses would be amazing to see.
@@MBXfilms Yeah it would be really exciting if the line makes it that far, my dream wave is Proto Man, Snake Man and Pharoah Man! I know that there is a lot of momentum for an X figure so that could be cool too.
My favorite of my robot masters figures as a kid was always snake man. The colors and design really caught my eye. I used to like to hold him when I went around the house, just because I was drawn to the colors.
I still wonder to this day why the cartoon didn't give Proto Man his shield.
Hmm yes weird, I can't find a single time he had one in the cartoon.
I remember seeing these in the store as a kid. My mom wouldn't let me get then 🥲
Oof. These I never saw they were VERY rare, but I was lucky enough to find AND GET the first group way back: ua-cam.com/video/f1J101uxjOA/v-deo.html
I wish I had these due to the fact I collect video game figurines for display. Although I did find Shadowman at a thrift shop.
He would have been from another set. They made many more Mega Man figures later in the 2000's and past. But in the 90's there was not much, this was all Mega Man had for many years.
Thanks for another great review.
Plenty more I have in mind here from this time period.
Looove Elec Man!
On my old CRT TV I had no idea Elec Man was suppose to have a mask like that.
I made an animated movie when I was a kid and Elec Man looks rough since the game was all I had at the time: ua-cam.com/video/yaA3h4E9qH4/v-deo.html worth a laugh to see.
@@MBXfilms I'll take a look.
If it makes you feel better, I always thought bomb Man looked sort of like a 🐔.
Took me forever to find a Snake Man in my budget. I'm glad I've got him though.
I have 2 of them on card
@@Phx-inferno-Jaramillo 👍 🐍
Good news, Jada Toys made Snake Man.
Retro Snake Man here is still cool, but a full set of Mega Man 3 figures would be amazing. I just hope they start finishing some of the game's line up's like 1 and 2 before moving on too fast.
@@MBXfilms
I’m just hoping for Metal Man, man. Also Proto Man was revealed so that’s cool. He DOES have his Proto Buster in the images, but his shield is blocking it. Are you going to buy the figures? (And maybe a comparison video with the ruby spears figures?)
@@RockMan40-rt7rs I have the first group here I still need to open, and Cut Man and Elec Man are coming. I hope to show them all my way even though everyone has covered them already. I will throw in these old ones just as a fun comparison.
@@MBXfilms
Not in to the Rock repaints? Well, what color is Mega Man with leaf shield? Green. See you can use it for other green weapons!…thoughts on wave 4?
@RockMan40-rt7rs All looking spot on. Not sure I have thr space for the bosses let alone so many Mega Man color combos.
Review the mega man fully charged action figures
It's possible, it's not on my list right now but it fits the retro connection since most of the characters are out of the NES games. I try to stick with retro only.
Ok
Weapon Get's channel has good reviews if you are looking. I own Wave and Drill, they're excellent toys. The articulation on Wave Man's arms leave something to be desired.
Too bad they didn’t have Ice Man or Fire Man
I would have loved a complete set of the Mega Man 1 bosses. Crazy they never finished the group at least. Jumped to doing 3 and 4.
GIGA DRILL BRRRRAAAKKKK
I never finished watching that show, dang.
They were went overboard with the drill size here though.
I wish there series 3 are pharaoh man crash man hard man dive man star man dr wily series 4 fire man ice man dr light roll heat man air man for series 2 of mini figure metal man toad man Gemini man stone man spark man gravity man snake man crash man
Yes at the very least finishing the Mega Man 1 group would have been nice. They made them in small form under this same toy line and cartoon. Mega Man 2 got NOTHING.
Me too!
Ok mouser
You bought a new gutsman?
I had to buy some lots of them to get these rare ones so I did end up with some new versions in better condition.
I have a snake man 4 sale. New on card
The carding is pretty cool also, didn't get to show it here since they are all so uncommon.
Can u help me find an eleckman still on card??? It's been hell trying to find one!!!
@@Phx-inferno-Jaramillo Unfortunaly no, I never saw one when I was searching for a long time. I was lucky to find this loose but complete one. Good luck, you will just have to search for a long time and wait for someone to list one. You can "save" a search on eBay and it will e-mail you when something gets added.
