I usually cringe when I get notified of these 'subsidized' reviews but in this case I'd have to agree this is worth the price. PIR is a must for outside cameras. If not every mosquito flying by sets off the alert no matter how much the sensitivity is turned down. The PTZ function is usually more expensive as well. This is nice when used outside and covering a large area. MOST importantly however is the app. I've seen great hardware only to be cut down by band software. I have used CLOUDEDGE on other cameras and it seems to be one of the better non proprietary apps for these cameras. Lastly it's worth mentioning that these days a solar solution is nice but not totally necessary as my battery operated cameras only need charged every 10 months and most outdoor battery cameras, solar panels can be added on by simply plugging in the panel. IE: no need to replace your existing camera if your just looking to add solar.
Curious about the need to "temporarily" turn off 5g on dual band wi-fi routers. Hopefully that is just for getting the camera set up on your system. Was this the case?
I ordered and received the product and as it came without any configuration or install documentation, I found this site on youtube. The narrator only show you how to take it out of the box and mount it on a tree. Not really helpful. Should have included the application one is needed to manage and configure the device and provide step by step on how to set it up prior to install I know how to open a box and plug in a cable. Not very informative.

Very nice , picture quality is good , and you can control it with your phone , pretty neat
The pic quality looks good , especially for the price .
Really like all your reviews. Bought, use and love a sensor based on your experience. BTW, that's an interesting book you have there. 👍
Wow! Good catch there my friend!! Behold........ Well, you know the rest.
@@FarpointFarms Sure do, my friend.
I got a similar camera by Inqmega, Am in the process of setting it up. Stay tuned for a video on it!
Looking forward to it

Once It finds the 2.4 network, you can turn it back on.
How would you recommend "Camouflaging" the Unit & Panel to minimise Sabatage?
Or is it best for it to "Be Seen" to ward-off Bad-Doers?
I would recommend both tactics. If they ruin the one they see, maybe you can catch them with the ones they don't see.
Does that have a setting that will alarm you with movement?
Something to look into for me. I have toys in my garage that need some extra security.
In this day and age, I think we all need better security.
Eric! Radioshack is back! :D Kind of... and not the way that everyone remembered :/
I am interested to see how long you can "watch it" before the battery goes dead.
