The thing is, if you mostly own assets inflation won't really affect you.

So true. Get there however you can. It makes 20 years later and beyond so much easier.

thank you so much for running my numbers my goal has been to get to the 100k before 30 and im almost there but it is tough and saving this hard has been exhausting i just needed a little more motivation and in a way its kinda the light at the end of the tunnel knowing i can coast from now on and ill be good to go at 60

I’m always hesitant to post videos like this because I don’t want people to necessarily think they can stop investing just because it reached that first hundred thousand. Just think if you keep going maybe not at the same pace where you might be at age 60. Anyway, keep up the good work and please share this channel.

Can you run my numbers? starting balance $95k, age 30, investing $2k a month into the S&P 500; would like to retire in my 50s so maybe a 15,20,25,30 year horizon .. the investment amoun will likely scale up several hundred after 5 years of pay increases

I dont know how old your computer is but your operating system is running off of a old hard drive. Get yourself a solid state drive and transfer everything to that SSD via cables. Your calculation takes way to long for that harddrive to compute.
