Very NIce! I wonder how PVC frame would hold up if on wheels. I hope you give us a follow up in time & let us know how this frame held up over the winter. Thanks a bunch for sharing! :-)
Yes, I have for sure been waiting breathlessly for your next video. 😜 All kidding aside...very nice job on the project. It should definitely be easier to move around. I would have still glued the pvc joints together I think. Daisy agrees with me since you didn't get the first hand shake 🤷♂️
Adding the cage to it strengthens it up a lot. Yes it is a little wobbly without the cage inside. I also anchored it down with short garden stakes and fencing wire so that the wind can't blow it over. It's been going strong now for almost 3 years
I live in a very similar style neighborhood and really want to start a rabbitry (1 buck, 2 does). was wondering how bad the smell of manure is and whether or not you think it affects your neighbors. Great video and awesome build!
Thank you. We have since moved out to 21 acres in the country but we had no problems with the rabbits. We would wake up the waist and put it in the bags or put it into our raised bed garden. The neighbors did complain about our Quail being a little loud but other than that it was ok
@@KCARanchHomestead awesome! I had originally wanted to do quail, but ruled them out due to the noise. So that’s a good confirmation. Thank you so much for the response and I hope life is good on the 21 acres!
I don't. I wish I would have made one. But shouldn't be too hard to reproduce if you take notes during the video. As long as the inside holds your cage, you should be good.
I ended up having to cut a slit in the bottom of the t’s and sand down the lip on the inside to make the t’s slide along the pipe for the bottom of the frame. Otherwise the build turned out good!
Very cool!
I have been wanting to build a PVC rabbit tractor and this gives me confidence to do it.
The PVC idea gave me an idea for a easier to slide rabbit tractor over my garden areas.

It has held up great and still using it regularly. No sag.

is it cheaper than wood or metal?
Great idea, but isnt it kinda wobbly ?

Still love the design, youre probably pretty bear safe at your place...
@@lostmoose7352 no bears. A few bobcats and coyotes but they have been well behaved
....we got more bears than rabbits here in BC 😉
@@lostmoose7352 I hunted in Manitoba back in 2009. Would love to go back. Winnepegosis
If you fill pvc with sand it'll help make it more stable during storms etc.

Can I make this 2 level where I can put another one on top of this one and how about a roof?
Do you happen to have a supply list for this?
I don't. I wish I would have made one. But shouldn't be too hard to reproduce if you take notes during the video. As long as the inside holds your cage, you should be good.
What size pipe did you use?
2" schedule 40 pvc
Did you have to buy bigger T’s than your pipe.. there is a lip on the inside is mine that won’t let the t go down farther
I ended up having to cut a slit in the bottom of the t’s and sand down the lip on the inside to make the t’s slide along the pipe for the bottom of the frame. Otherwise the build turned out good!
What do you use for a cage?
I made it. See my other videos for a complete rabbit cage build
What size is the PVC pipe?
It's 2" schedule 40 PVC. I can't believe I didn't put that in the video. I'll edit
