Paper Frog makes enemies take 75% more damage, but is an Ironclad specific relic. Odd Mushroom is still great though, significantly reduces how much damage you take in the future, even if the 3 mushroom rats hurt in the short term

@@lukieq12 well you obviously need to find ways to discard or exhaust some cards(or scry as watcher) and never take curses but in general it's insane to keep block and attacks for the exact turns you need them. Also removing cards from the deck becomes even more important.
Hey NL as someone that watched the entire original STS series and everything since then, I can honestly say that I think your most apparent growth as a player was going into that first shop and recognizing Orrery as a play instead of immediately dismissing it. Such growth from the complete disregard for that relic.
There was the chance to take a 2nd meditate (already upgraded). Simmering fury + 2 upgraded meditates is a fun little energy neutral combo that draws 2 (or 3) cards each turn, starts you in wrath & ends you in calm.
I think he likes wave of the hand a wee bit too much. The man will play it every single time it's in his hand even if 1. he's not going to play any block cards or 2. if the enemy already has 10 turns of weakness.
