I would definitely give it a try if I get back to New Brunswick, but what's up with chipotle mayo on Cambodian food? I mean you could call it fusion, but there's so many Asian spices and sauces available I would think they would use them. I have a jar of Khmer lemongrass paste that I found on Amazon, and many of the Thai Chili/Curry pastes have the same spices as Khmer food. And considering that the owner mentioned his Indonesian roots, I just thought I'd mention that today for brunch I finished the leftover beef rendang that I made from scratch, including grinding my own paste and all the spices; not precisely authentic but it was a damn good approximation and delicious.
I told him to hook it up with however he recommends it lol. I didn’t hate it but I felt like trying something new. Not bad but I would opt for no mayo next time so I can just enjoy the lemongrass flavor on its own.
Exactly. Hey, I'd try it too, I just figure why do something same old, same old that fast food places do when you could enjoy some real flavors. I have some lemongrass I took out of the freezer yesterday and now ya got me figuring on making pho for brunch tomorrow and slicing some of that into it. @@HellaChluy @HellaChluy
