- It's been a long time, but I said I would do a cover off of Impulse. So here it is, Invent by ERRA. It was bloody hard... I hope you enjoy it. I will try to do some more videos soon!

Flawless dude, that was fucking amazing mate. I wish Alan Rigdon was back with ERRA, he brought so many melodic guitar elements in both Impulse and Augment. I can definitely hear his presence missing in the EP.
To anyone who is interested, lately I've been going through some personal problems, and reoccurring problems with my hands. To the point where I don't find myself playing guitar at all. I haven't picked up the guitar for about 4 months now, and I wouldn't say I'm any closer to starting again. I keep trying to convince myself I want to play, but I just can't right now. I've had a problem with my hands since the Invent Animate cover I did in October 2014. This is the reason for the lack of videos. I'm still interested in continuing this channel, but maybe I'll try to do some vocal covers. I know no one has heard me scream, but suggesting a song you'd like to hear me do a vocal cover of wouldn't be entirely stupid. I always try to maintain a certain level of quality with my videos, so I wouldn't say I'll try a vocal cover, if I didn't think I could do it well. Cheers to everyone who has liked my guitar videos and left nice words, it means a lot to me.

Hi, I am back for another dose of your playing! I come back to your videos often, they have great replay ability for me. I looked at your comments and you saying that it was "bloody hard" made me feel so good... I have been trying for so long but seem to have plateaued at something like Back in Black (no offense, it is just a way more simple song). I did push myself this last year and yes there is noticeable improvement but still, i would not play in front of anyone. So thank you again for playing such awesome music, I hope things are going great for you. Cheers!

Great cover as usual man! I've listened to Erra for a while now but your cover of Spirits Away was the thing that pushed me to really practice more and try and learn their stuff on guitar. Glad you did Invent, one of my favourites. I can play up to solo but the solo itself is above my ability currently. Keep doing these vids dude.

A few years late getting here but great music and great playing non the less! I see you commented on the difficulty of the song, that is appreciated - if someone with your skills finds it challenging then I don't feel so bad about my playing, this is a hard song to get right. I am just discovering ERRA and it is overwhelming as I have their entire discography available all at once! Their best songs are definite contenders for some of the best prog/metal songs ever!

Andrew Monias each song has it's struggles though. It's just a matter of practicing the jumps. I practiced this song a lot you can be sure of that.

Awesome cover man, really enjoyed it. I'm curious what your EQ/FX settings are at to mimic their tone. I've been trying to land it myself but can't quite figure it out.
Cheers man. I wish I could help but I really don't know. I'm a little gear-retarded haha. I can tell you I use a Mesa Dual Recto, Zoom multi-effects pedal and a Protone overdrive. But, but, but, I found out recently after this whole time, the only thing that contributes to my recorded sound is the Zoom pedal haha. So actually my live setup sounds nicer I think. But I just record directly with that pedal, I got it as my first pedal. It is by no means pro equipment haha.
Haha I gotcha man. I'm not decked out in the gear area either don't worry. I thought it sounded pretty similar though so still props! Appreciate the feedback.

first thing... dat guitar is beauty lol. second is you should do invent animate or novelists next please :). Ive always loved Erra but Impulse is their best album in my opinion. Not saying their other albums are bad. but impulse is just beauty.
I'd like to say Impulse and Augment are both amazing albums and honestly sometimes I can't decide which album to listen to between the two of them haha. Maybe I'll do some Invent Animate, maybe some Veil of Maya. Not sure yet!
