I still dont know what digital media is.
I thought the background music intruded into the message being put forward. A bit distracting.
DIGITAL MEDIA IS A GROWING INDUSTRY IN THE 21ST CENTURY.
its created alot of new jobs like photography website building, in film theater pictures and in technology to it has also helped to promote peoples business.
I chose this class for my junior year. Is it any good or any tips I should know before I enter?
Music is much to loud - nearly unable to understand whats been said!
I agree
Hey my friend. I just saw your comment in my channel. I'm here ready to support your channel. Keep it up bro.
Awesome Video can't wait to learn here at UH!
is multimedia the same as digital media?
I wanted to know can i pchyscology major get in this field.......
good!
Is it possible to get a job in the film or animation industry with a Digital Media degree? I'm a little worried because most of my required classes are coding based and I truly HATE coding with the grieving passion. My adviser expects me to get a programming/coding based job, but that's not what I had in mind. All I want is a job editing professional videos OR making animations (cartoons). So tell me, did I pick the wrong major?
Yes, it is possible. However, there is of course many opportunities. For example, we have several area on concenration (for more information go to the website). I did e-commerce area of concentration - and surprisingly, I am not in the e-commerce industry in terms of jobs (probably later). I got hired at a printing company. This program will make you do everything, because they want you to learn a lot - print, quality control, business, web design, programming, packaging, epublishing, 3d animation, 2d animation, videography, storyboards, and many more. The industry is growing.
Really? Because everyone I talked to that graduated in digital media say that they're working on a website or a videogame. That's great, more power for them but like I said before, my passion is on 2D animation or video editing
***** good for you. Digital media is changing every year.
Unfortunately, they only have Digital Media at my college. And I'm not going for 3D animation, I'm going for 2D animation. Not 3D, 2D. Are you sure that a hiring manager at a video production field can accommodate for my Digital Media degree.
I really hate coding, all I ever wanted to do is make cartoons in 2D and bring animation back to its glory days
I did take a video production class two semesters ago and I loved it (No coding, hallelujah :D ) and it was in my digital media requirements. Unfortunately there's no other video production class. But are you sure they can't accommodate? Like I heard that 85% of college graduates don't get into the field that they want. For example a law student may not make it as a lawyer or state senator, but end up as a bank teller or some finance job. See what I'm saying
