- I restored my great granpa's fishing boat. My dad inherited it in the early 90's after he passed away and it sat around until last year. It was a ton of work. it took 6 months of putting 25 hours a week working on it.
Ya'll win the big prize for the most amazing boat rebuild I've seen and I've watched hundreds of rebuild videos on UA-cam over the past 2 1/2 years.
haha thanks it was a ton of work.
I also just bought a project trihull . Its a big job .Instead of videos your pictures are great. Looks excellent , well done . Im inspired to get at mine. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks it was a ton of work but definitely worth it at the end
Awesome resto-mod! I just picked up a tri hull that needs to be fixed up. You gave me some ideas. Thanks for sharing.
No problem thanks for watching good luck on your project!
Great video. Are you interested in doing another one? (Tri haul restoration)
Thanks for the offer but I'd have to pass. If it wasn't for the sentimental side of this being my great grandpa's boat it wouldn't be worth redoing for the time and materials put in.
Amazing work. Would you be willing to share some direction on a repair I have to do?
thanks, sure ask away
👍
I'm planning on doing the exact same thing also on a Tri Hull boat..Nice work. I just wish I had enough space to remove the boat cap and work comfortably..
Awesome good luck its a ton of work and will take more time than you could imagine but it is so worth it at the end.
Badass
Chris, where did you get these fishing rod holders from..?
The fishing rod holders are Cannon rod holders I ordered off of Ebay the storage rod holders I made by putting a PVC pipe in the front cavity before filling with flotation foam and made the hooks on the back to hold the rod.
No. Just... No. 🤣🤣🤣
Its a bad ass boat restore idk what your saying no too
