@@RCSkate But honest question, looking back on all your riding experience, if you were about to hop on an electric longboard for the very first time, which one would you want it to be, your Kaly or your X4S? I kind of want my first experience to be the Kaly. 🤔
@@electropsychosis I personally would never start out with a Hyper Board or Luxury Board such as the Kaly. I am a traditional Longboarder. Learning how to push with your feet is important. Leaning how to ride on Urethane wheels, and how to foot break, and how to slide is also important for stopping. Learning how to sevice your manual longboard is important as well Once you build that foundation, then moving over to a entry level E board should be the next step in progression. I started with the TeamGee H5 Electric Longboard. Its not the fastest but it was a great entry level board and it made me appreciate the Luxury Street and Luxury Offroad boards even more. Skating on all classes of boards allows one to develop an appetite for different styles of riding and different techniques. This will help you progress faster no matter what type of board you are riding. If you are just started out, I would recommend purchasing a lower class board first and then progress to a Lacroix or Kaly or Propel. You will appreciate, learn more, and become a better skater in the end.
@@RCSkate Makes perfect sense my dear friend. I appreciate and value your insight very much. I didn’t want to collect a lot of boards due to space and finances, so I went for a high end longboard to avoid the selection process of going through all the options and brands when it comes to longboards since there are so many. I wanted a longboard that I couldn’t go wrong with. The scene down here is pretty small, so it’s not like I can try a variety of longboards. But, my coworker got a Backfire G2 longboard because he loved my mini, so I’ve spent a little time on that. I do go to parking lots and other open spaces, turn off the board and practice riding manually until my leg gets sore from kicking. 😆😁
