Adding the extra weight of the bigger 1S battery and mounting a lot higher didn't make the micro truck want to flip more thou? Raising the CG and adding weight like that. Curious cause I just got an SC28, not impressed with run/charge time. AT ALL!! They could've designed it to fit a bigger battery. I have other 28th scale micros and lets be honest what's $70 nowadayz . Bang for the buck I'm still impressed with WLtoys the most. But love Miniz's, just not the costs.
The weight of the battery didn’t effect the truck that much…. A lot depends on the surface that you run in, and obviously driving styles… but the battery life is unbelievable with the after market battery… 45 plus minutes easily
Cool idea. I have a thought - what about just soldering a lead directly onto the circuit board to the red and black? ALSO, just curious, do you know if all three (SC28, RC28 and MT28) of these models have the same body riser layout and pin positions!?! So, if I wanted to switch between body shells on the same car chassis, is that do-able? Thanks.
Their is a binding button on the truck, just get a new transmitter, then turn on the truck and press that button until it flashes, turn on transmitter, wait until the light turns solid and you should be good

I suck at soldering, but your idea sounds great! I don't know if the other models are the same. I only have the sc28.
Lost my remote can i program a new reciever or is it inside the circuit board ?

Nice
Did you use a 1s or 2s battery for the replacement? Hard to tell with the light glare. ;)
It’s a 1S… ya those glares suck!! Thanks for watching!
What type of battery is the stock one
1s lipo…
