crazy RC crazy RC I was thinking of doing something like this with mine. Did you have to do anything special to do this or did the stock electronics work with the extra power?
Mine arrived a few days ago and when I go full throttle....it dies....I’m still bound and can turn wheels...but the red lights flashes a very slow beep...only if I hold throttle it just dies...
I am successfully running a 1200mah 1s 25c battery with headlights, fpv cam and VTX and cooling fans for vtx. On my trucks. Nothing heating up as I expected from overdue in mah on the esc. Motor doesn't get any better than normal. Run time is as expected. An hour or longer depending on what gear I am running off it at the time of use. I've also added an RPSMA connector to my TX and an amplifier. So basically I got long range with these units.
@@ryanflies6915 Mine didnt charge either after about a week! I got a 3.7v 350mAh battery out of a $15 crashed drone and soldered the leads to the B+ B- test points on the PCB. Works like a charm now.
One half-step above toy grade. Yikes, the front “suspension” is just bendy plastic arms? Wheels don’t mount onto axles? Cool but deceiving/ disappointing with Associated’s name on it.
@@68pishta68 yeah that’s what my point was. It’s light enough to not need suspension. (I’m working on upgrading the motor on it, and weighing it down a bit)
Appears to be mini (hubsan) motor. Cheap and available at hobby shop.
That huge lipo is overkill.
3c lipo in this little guy is very fun and go up to ca 30 km/h

My steering servo is shot. I'd rather replace the servo than the entire chassis
My battery won't charge. How, where do I get a replacement battery?
Maybe get a refund or send it to a hobby shop/team associated

thanks man
how do front tires come off the axles? Full of hair.
They simply pull straight off. They are on there pretty tight so grab a hold and give them a yank
@@Alex_Beech will do! Grafted another 350mAh battery piggy back in parallel onto the B+ B- test points on the board and she's a runner!
@@Alex_Beech appreciate your knowledge. Was gonna toss it cuz I thought they didn’t come off. Thank you fixed now
did anyone figure out the motor size yet
four cam V-12
Any idea what size motor is used?
My son's beloved SC28 motor failed after 8 days (since Christmas). Thanks
Unfortunately not, I didn't have a caliper then, and is what I would recommend using to figure out the size of that brushed motor.

Thanks!
racestar 8520 motor
Put bl motor in it
Is it just a regular dirt 1:10th scale track and that didn’t break 🤨
It was a 8/10th scale SCT, hard pack with a sandy surface.

It’s because it doesn’t weigh enough to need all that
@@OmegaHellHound543 Its feather lite. It cant even keep traction on a wooden floor, just spins out. Works great on cement or hard dirt or carpet.

Fools buy this truck and don't even wait for the motor to break in before they review it
