Pan di Stelle is a childhood staple of mine. I‘m not Italian (I‘m Austrian) but when I was younger we went to Italy every single summer and I always looked forward to eating them. Childhood memories right there.

I brought some Mik-Mik over to Canada from Philippines to share it with family and friends and they loved the experience. You consume it by the straw, but have to be careful sucking on it because it can go into your lungs.. and could make you cough a lot. Otherwise, it's fun to eat. 😆

Kinders, my favorite type of candy. I remember when they were wrapped in foil and actually had the shape of an egg with a toy inside.
Kinder Joy are NOT Kinder surprise eggs. Those are still banned in the U.S. as a Canadian the joys are a let down.

Fun fact: There is a running joke with Mik-Mik that it serves like drugs for kids lmao. A lot of kids growing up would joke about Mik-Mik being shabu or cigarettes like that because of what they hear on the news and assume that doing drugs was like inhaling Mik-Mik.
P.S. I don’t do drugs. It’s just that this is a funny joke that kids my generation have especially when we have a bunch of Mik-Mik packs HAHAHAHA.

I have seen blonde haired blue eyed Italians which most likely get from the Vikings and Germans that settled there , Germans during time of Atila the Hun and then Vikings later . As an Italian I am surprised you guys dont talk about your strong trade ancient Rome had with Southern India , their trade settlements there.
