I’m a huge historical total war fan. I must have at least 3000 hours on the first Rome. Near 1k hours on rone 2. And god knows how much on medieval 2. But I really hate the fantasy aspect they have brought into it. I’ve just accepted that Total war is dead. My only holdout of hope is a remaster of medieval 2. The Egyptian total war looked a lot like the Troy engine, which isn’t very good. I’ll still end up buying it though, because I’m desperate to be wrong lol. Total war is my favorite series ever next to civilization 1-6. @theonlylonzy
Insane defense! Very nice. i'm building mazes around my city, Instead of they try to break the maze wall they just chose to run all the way in the maze, so my towers eat them for dinner

Perfect! I love how you created a nice aesthetic killing field. I wonder how far catapults will reach? If you're too successful the developers will implement tunneling to get through your defenses.

I love the elevation approach, just wish they had a raise and lower tool rather than just flatten, imagine the cool designs you can make with the game systems working with you.

Maybe 16-20 hours for the first and then another 10 hours to get the 2nd fort part up. mostly just having to wait for resources - around 200 crossbows armor swords and once you hit 1k pop it takes a bit to get to 1500 i'm still working on that.
Good god that was insane. I feel like there needs to be some reward for defeating these raids...not sure what though. Maybe to pick up most of their armor and shiz. Melt it down or reperpose it in some way. Just feels boring for it to be such an enormous raid but no reward. Inless the reward is NOT getting your town ransacked haha.
once you hit t4 they will drop relics, and if you have that relic it's converted into 2-4k gold now.

In Going Medieval you can deconstruckt armor from the killed raiders. Maybe something like that. Meh
They are adding a world map with raids in the combat patch so you can raid raiders and stuff@@mctbaggins2084
