Excellent video once again. Thanks for adding myself and My son Josh in. It was great of you to find the time to speak to us. Keep up the great work, tight lines Graham and Josh 🎣👍
@TheConstantAngler brilliant, cheers for the reply! I went lure wrasse fishing today for the first time and lost a lot of fish in snags due to having the drag too loose I think 🙄
They can be but you can find them in deep water. Bait wise Ragworm or frozen prawns work. Lure wise soft plastic lures about 3-4inches work for me. This video helps How to Lure Fish for Wrasse - Tackle, Rigs & Lures ua-cam.com/video/Fid3G_A6PY4/v-deo.html
Float fishing with bait can be one of the t ways to catch them. Crabs, prawns, Ragworm or lugworm for bait. Just use a sliding sea float set up. You can also use lures to catch them on the float.

My pleasure. Was great to meet you.
Got to love wrasse fishing nice video Adrian 👍🎣
Interesting to see you using a baitcaster instead of a spinning reel.
I don’t always but I do love using them. They are particularly good for flipping baits around structure.
Great video! Do you tend to tighten the drag so the fish can't take any line whatsoever?
@@TheTangledAngler I used to but these days set to give line only with extreme pressure. Glad you liked the video

@ I set it so I can just turn the spool with my fingers rather than by pulling line off. Good luck
Do wrasse be in shallow water like 2 foot deep and what would I use bait or lures

What is better a 20 to 60 g or a 14 to 40 g rod
If your after Wrasse I would go 14-40 out of the two but really I would be looking at 10 - 35 ideally
@@TheConstantAngler and is 19 lb braid and a 2000 reel good I hqve a 10 to 30 gram rod but it is 6 foot and very thin
19lb braid good 2000 might just cope but 3000, 4000 better
