How To Configure VLANS On Juniper Switches

In this tutorial we will be showing you how to create VLANs on Juniper switches, and how to span that VLAN across two switches. We will use virtual QFX switches on EVE NG, and virtual Windows Servers for this demonstration.

Are you trying to allow communication within the same vlan that are connect to different switches. By default, links between switches are in access mode, so you can ping to the same vlan device on another switch without changing switchport mode to trunk. Even with trunk mode, the default native vlan is 1. Of course I am speaking from a Cisco perspective. I haven't tried it on juniper network devices. Do you know, Jupiter doesn't have its own proprietary rstp protocol. It relies on IEEE, which is sad and discouraging. Love your video ❤
