i honestly blame everyone but hope for the path she’s going down. everyone around her constantly drills into her that she’s a weapon and that she’s just like klaus when she’s not. klaus could do all these things with his humanity on and be fine, hope require’s emotional liberty to carry out these acts. she limits herself because even she doesn’t yet understand her power and it’s at the point now where she turned it off to avoid emotional repercussions. but the super squad and the others created her, their treatment of hope is what’s recreating a pre-hope klaus mikaelson, except it’s hope herself.

Heretics are very powerful in their own right. They can drain the magic of other beings Hope may yet underestimate Lizzie.
Actually heretics on their own are not that strong. When together they are unstoppable. But as individuals... they could dessicate from siphoning themselves.

@@The_Memorial Heretics are extremely powerful on their own as well as in groups. Lizzie will be quite powerful and a true threat against Hope because she will have access to her dark magic at any moment. Heretic Lizzie is Lizzie at her strongest.
Finch will be the next to go. She was literally there to be Josies girlfriend. She really has no other purpose on the show.
that's probably what they are going to do now, write her her own storyline.
She brought up how the pack needed her and I was like “Wait- Aren’t you the new girl? Why is the pack looking to the person who just found out about the supernatural world for advice?” But I’ve also skipped some side characters’ scenes because they were boring so maybe they did show her interacting with the pack and I just missed it.

I just realized, Hope is the first humanity off vampire - who is a main character - to kill a loved one.
If memory proves correct, Damon, Stefan, Elena, Caroline, and even Enzo never crossed that line. And I am NOT counting Damon killing Tyler because they were never really close friends
Maybe deep down she only cared for Landon. Hope with humanity always tries to do selfless things, which she does, but at the end of the day Landon is the one she truly cares about. They may be friends, but hope would gladly sacrifice the twins to save Landon.

Heretics can’t be underestimated because now there’s a witch that can actually go toe to toe with Hope. She’ll heal from any magical overload and she might be a weaker vampire but it still about levels the playing field. About as much as anyone can hope to now that the red oak is gone.
That was fucked up, snapping Lizzie’s neck after the love confession (familial or otherwise). Hope really has gone dark side. This is the ‘too far’ everybody has wanted. Cannot wait for the rest of this season.
There is still one other Red Oak Stake. And a Heritic can use it.
So can a half dragon vampire hybrid.
I do not look at Lizzie as a weaker vampire. Hope literally just turned into a vampire not too long before this. And I don’t subscribe to the theory of her being a “stronger” vampire just based on the fact that she is klauses daughter. Since that has never been explained since it’s never been done before. So I personally think they are pretty even. The only thing hope has that Lizzie doesn’t is a werewolf side. But a werewolf bite doesn’t effect heretics.

Burningdaylighter Hope has the strength of an Original Hybrid (Klaus) from the beginning of her turn. Plus witch power like a heritic.
And werewolf bites do effect Heritics. Kai just figured out a way around that. Doesn't mean that Lizzie knows that loophole yet.

If Lizzie knew about Hope's encounter with Dark Josie, revealing she's afraid of facing her pain of losing Landon, that could've triggered her humanity. Hope is a coward as she's running from her grief instead of facing it. She clams to b her father's daughter but she isn't. Klaus kept his humanity on so he was worse as he had no excuses even by a little bit. I think if Dark Josie or anyone could turn her humanity back on, Hope will turn it back off again, and again, and again; that way she doesn't face her pain on Landon or Alaric. Remember in VD when Damon was in the phoenix stone and Stefan said "How do u think Elena would react?", Damon goes "I didn't get ta ask.". Hope is like that, would rather ask in person instead of think because she's too focused on her emotional pain, and its only getting worse.
I also feel like we aren’t getting true tribrid hope. I geek like we arent gonna see what’s she’s fully capable until she turns her humanity back on.

I have always found the concept of the humanity switch in the tvd universe to be somewhat confusing. To this day Caroline was the only vampire in the show who had their humanity turned off initially and didn't go on a killing rampage. she was still able to function normally and be able to reason. I mean don't get me wrong I know what the switch does, it stops you from caring about anything or anyone just your gratification. However it doesn't take away your memories you still know the ppl you previously cared about, your friends would still be friends, your parents still parents, family still family. Your humanity being turned off doesn't change who these ppl are its why Damon was able to flip Elena's switch when he killed Matt. The humanity switch doesn't last forever. Eventually it will come back and completely f***k your life. The fact Hope is able to kill so many ppl in her circle is scary. I can't fathom how she is gonna come back from all this..
maybe because she is tribrid the switch is stronger, I don't know. I also find it amazing that the switch hasn't turn on with anything. But like Dark Josie said she is afraid of it and why wouldn't she, as a witch, werewolf and vampire the feelings are damn intense.
Thats not completely true. Think about elena for example. She tried to kill Bonnie twice (Bonnie who was always her best friend unlike with Hope and Lizzie who hated each other for most of their lives). She also almost killed matt and caroline.

If y'all think about it, lizzie doesn't have much of a chance against hope, even being a heretic, ok ok ... I adore heretics, they are one of the most powerful creatures in TVDU but still lizzie is not that strong, hope is an original vampire, an alpha wolf of the original 9 packs, and has an unstoppable source of magic thanks to her mikaelson bloodline, while lizzie only has the strength of a newborn vampire which in turn makes her magic not that strong, I think maybe a heretic (original vampire - siphoner) could stand up to hope, meanwhile lizzie isn't much of a threat

That's what I'm wondering. What exactly are the rules for the Gemini coven's exitence? Is this a spell that was casted generations ago that they have to respect? When Kai died it wiped out the whole coven, so there had bee no leader for 18 years. Were they still obligated to do the merge after that anyway? The show is unclear on the rules
@@714KH the coven isn’t gone because Lizzie and Josie are alive and they are the remaining coven. The would have to merge to figure who was gonna be the leader.
@@714KH There was supposed to be more backstory to the merge. Josie thought it was not a chosen requirement but a cursed placed on the coven and the twins coming from that coven. But now the actress of Josie is gone so they may scratch that storyline. I mean Lizzie is not going to age so technically she will never be 22 so there's no need for the merge but also no leader for the cover.

I can see that being the loophole now with her being a Heretic but technically if there is no Merge when Josie turns 22, assuming she doesn't also become a Heretic, they would both die. Also if there is no new leader of the Gemini and one of the sisters die both would die. So if they happened to have children at that time anyone in the Gemini line would die out. This also includes Valerie as well assuming she's still technically a Gemini even though she was abandoned by her family. So to make a long point short, anything that happens to one without the leader happens to all. And if the leader were to die, all would die as well. So either way you roll it, you're eventually fucked.
I have a feeling that Lizzie drank some of Hopes blood that they keep in the school. So she may be a bit stronger than a regular heretic

Exactly I feel like he's a Angel that's the one aspect from the books that they've never show in the Vampire Diaries Universe they where talking about higher beings in this episode for it not to relate to that.

The trick was amazing, I mean it's worked with me. I've read an article where an author saying about Hope is the only hero in the show that doesn't have any development compare to supportive cast. Which kinda not so good for a character but interesting for fans. And I'm curious, have anyone noticed that in this short time we got answers about two main problems of the entire show: the Tribrid problem and the merge. Is it means that this season it's the end?

In tvd, it felt more like they were getting wrapped up in supernatural stuff no matter where they were. If I went to that school, after the third monster attack I’d just be like “You know what? First of all she already has a dark side and secondly majority of the fandom wanted Lizzie to be a heretic and the fact that she has mental issues she would be loose. OR accidently turn it off

Now anyone who think that hope doesn't have the power of original vampire let's compare
1. In the therapy box she killed MJ by throwing a chair leg at him even when he was expecting it he couldn't dodge it.
2. In the fight with Josie she said that hope has power equal to an original.
3. All those theories about age are irrelevant in case of original vampires they are just that strong from the start. Example when Alaric became a original he was as strong as any original more so also Marcel and Lucian when became originals they didn't have to wait for time they were just strong.
3. Hope didn't drink anyone's blood to become a vampire she was born with it unlike lizze who has to drink it to become a vampire. So both simply can't be at the same level in vampire strength.
4. Playing or not hope stopped Aurrora's attack when she attacked from behind.
What I wanna know is was it aurora who gave Lizzie blood cause hope didn’t know that she would come back or Lizzie planned for this to happen
My guess is she drank MG’s blood. It was a safety plan in case Hope killed her.
Lizzie stood no chance against Hope. What she was doing dangerous actions that could and did get her killed. Lizzie also wished Hope out of existence with the Genie, thus she had this coming and it was good payback.
Lizzie can take her, she literally brought ken to his knees and held his magic unlike Hope who almost died and got healed by hero Lizzie.
Hope DIDNT kill JOSIE because she has feelings for her … Hope had no problems killing Lizzie … just a thought

I mean this show isn't just about Hope. It's about the twins too. The school was literally made for the twins so their storylines are just as important as Hope's. Even the side characters are important too. They all have integrated lives together and they all deserve a shot at their story being told. This whole show has been centered on Hope and her abilities, and her trauma, her turning into the Tribrid. Everyone claims that Hope isn't getting enough of a story when literally the entire show is centered around her. This show was made for the children of the characters we once loved. That includes all the ones that it doesn't center around. I for one am glad they are now making Lizzie a heretic. It might speed things up on figuring out what the merge is and the history behind it since there's a possibility that they won't have to merge now that Lizzie died. And for one this entire season has been about Hope so you should feel satisfied with that but then again some of you are never pleased despite the writers working their asses off to write this show for all of us who love The TVD universe. And no one expected Hope to kill Lizzie so it was actually a shock.

@@shataysianelson9414 the whole point of them not merging is to avoid the merge. Thats what Caroline and Alaric have fought against for years. And it wouldn't make sense for them to do the merge right now anyway. They aren't twenty two and they aren't ready. Just like with Hope they are trying to avoid their destiny which is the merge. And they explained pretty clearly why Josie left. The only way she can help Hope is if she isn't at the school having to save everyone's lives. Since Hope lost her humanity everyone's been depending on Josie and she can't do what they need her to do if they keep needing her to save them. I'm sure they will get around to doing the merge but as of right now at this point it's not needed

As far as Josie leaving the show, I’m clueless as to how they will write in with Lizzie needing her family now more that ever before. Also another question is, now that there will be no merge and Caroline has no excuse to be traveling looking for a solution, will she come back? As a fan of The Vampire Diaries, I didn't actually really tricked at all. Because as far as I remember, when a vampire turns their humanity on, all the emotions will come rushing back, at the point that you cant control it. It is so painful to see Elena and Caroline getting back their humanity on. I believe Hope has that kind of emotional vulnerability, so I already expected that when Hope does turn on her humanity, she will feel a lot of sadness, anger , regrets and all she can do is just scream or cry it all out.
Bruh This girl at the age of 8 broke the Hollow spell and overpowered Davina, who was a harvest girl, Lizzie was on some funky acid trip thinking she could take on Hope as she is now. 😂😂

So it was all an act sure but maybe there was a possibility her humanity was coming to the surface and she pushed it down again. I think that happened during the Salvatore idol as well. Because she knows that if her humanity comes back in full force the overwhelming emotions, facing people that she hurt will cause a breakdown. Or she did feel it coming back but pulled an Elena and clung to the one thing, one emotion that will get her through. Anger.
Klaus would be proud... I might actually come back to watch this show if hope stays this path and keeps her dark Edge when she inevitably turn her Humanity back on

@@The_Memorial Again it was his plan to distract hope long enough to force her to have to choose between saving her friends or saving landon. he wouldve eventually gotten out of the chains. alaric just made it to him before he had the chance to. Hope herself said that he couldve blocked her if he wanted to. she realized herself he was playing her.

@Isaac M NYCTransit&vlog That's not confirmed. Let's not spread lies. All we know at this point is that she has signed on for a new movie and it's filming schedule overlapped with this show. A starring role in a film with big names like that overpowers a side character role on a CW show any day. All we know is that she unfollowed him on social media but beyond that she hasn't said anything about it.

Hope took down aurora in like ten seconds. A vampire that is over 1000 years old and she didn’t stand a chance against Hope and Lizzie thought she did. That should have been her warning right there. Why would you challenge a vampire with no humanity smh. As soon a Lizzie said you haven’t killed anyone you care about; she challenged her and lost. That was basically daring her to kill her.
In fairness, Danielle doesn't even come close to the level of acting nina did for katherine/elena.

And Danielle just doesn’t bring it and deliver. Yes Danielle is young but there are a lot of young actors that bring it unlike Danielle. I’m not sorry for not liking someone’s acting. The only reason I watch Legacies is because of the variety of supernatural they have added, other characters that are not Hope and Landon, the mentions of TVD and TO characters and currently I’m watching for Gods storyline they are introducing.

Lizzie waking up after being dead, like to see how she became a vampire too begin with. It makes no sense since she's a purely a witch. Guest hope being a tri-brid can turn people after age kills them. Episode getting better and better.
