- Hey guys! Hope everyone finds this video useful for how to watch demos a little bit better and see it from my perspective of what I am looking for. Do what works best for you at the end of the day for what helps you learn and be focused when watching.

I like how you point out that just because a play fails doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. Great video, you're just getting better and better!
Nothing made this point in reverse a lot. Just because it works doesn't make it a good play

@@kushagrakulshrestha2966 using 'works' is still correct in that sentence because you can repeat the play, therefore it 'works' but still might not be a good play

it's not a big deal really. astralis changing their lineup and also the games are pre-player break so next games people play are in september. it isn't really anti-stratting at all. it is just about what they are doing, how they fit together, how they are structuring their rounds. I didn't really go into how to counter it from the other perspective at all as a T

Hey EliGE, i have a video idea I've always wanted to see from a top pro-level CSGO player. It would be great from you as you have both top level headshot but also spray aim.
In terms of mechanics, could you possibly record and break down for us your arm/wrist movements with the mouse and explain what amount of aim comes from the arm movement, and what comes from the wrist for both pre-aim/ flick aiming/full spray/burst, tapping etc. and how you practice it/ how you get consistency in your aim with your mousepad/ sitting position/ setup?
I've always had trouble with consistency and often feel like patches of really good form could have something to do with something a little different in how i was sat/ how the mousepad was placed for that week or so of gameplay which may have since changed to lower the consistency.

What software is that that you're using that makes watching demos so smooth? I'm tired of CSGO's interface and clunkyness.
This a dumb question but how do you go and spectate a players pov in Skybox? Instead of having it from a birds eye view

This is the forward thinking content that anyone serious about competing needs to watch. This is is a stark contrast to the thousands of "How to get GOD aim" videos. Thank you. Also, that software looks too clean to be skybox, what is it?.
its called Rewind but its not possible to get anymore unfortunately
@@EliGEjj Since you cant get Rewind anymore what would be a good alternative? Im very new to cs and im not sure what the best way is to watch demos. Actually i have no clue at all how to even watch demos normally! A comment back or maybe video on that would be very helpfull! Thank you

@@conrie0110 If you're still interested, you can either use the free program Skybox, or just watch them in game. I much prefer to just watch them in game myself. Make sure you have demo_index 1 enabled in console and skip all the way to the end of the demo you want to watch when you load it up, and then re-load it up. This will index all the rounds from the demo so you can skip from round to round lightning fast.

Would be sick if you could get an IGL to watch a demo with you and show the differences between what a rifler sees and an IGL sees in the same demo.
Would be insane if you get get someone like Karrigan cause he also does some UA-cam stuff. Or maybe AleksiB

I could do the same thing actually watching it from a macro overview instead of individual stuff. It would be a different type of video looking at how the other side plays and what you would do to counter it. I doubt any of the other pros would want to do that though, but if they did feel free :P
another thing too is that it actually kinda gives away the team's thinking for reactions and what we think other teams could play to counter us. so it's a lot riskier of a video for competitive reasons which is probably why I won't end up doing it ):
@@EliGEjj I figured it wasn’t super possible, just thought it would be cool. And you’re known as one of the smartest players so I never doubted you can see the big picture too. You could probably be a great IGL if it wasn’t a waste of your rifling talent

What are you using to watch the demo? It's not looking like you do it In-game
it is an app called rewind, but it is unavailable. skybox is the next best alternative!
Small tip : try to smile a little bit for the intro. it sounds dumb, and probably feels dumb to smile in front of a camera, but it's actually more enjoyable to watch somebody smile when they talk. Doesn't have to be a big creepy smile (like some pro youtubers do), it could just be the way you talk to a friend when you two just exchanged jokes.

I genuinely feel bad for Elige the amount of time they lost to Astralis. Heads up for him to still keep going even though it got embarrassing. At this point he must be traumatized making him write down what astralis does step by step.

I don't understand why this video has 2 dislikes. Dog (good dog) is the star in this video. I have absolutely no idea what you're saying. All I'm doing is watching dog (very good). I tried to look at your notes but I was afraid if i looked away from dog (doing best) would move.

Wasn't magisk a B player when they had Device and Dupreeh playing A? I think he would be pretty comfortable with all the protocols.
Yeah Magisk was mostly a B player but overpass is a really flexible map position wise so he would play A sometimes and dupreeh was rotater. I think gla1ve was more regularly A player.
He could have been! I honestly forgot / no clue about it, but I just wanted to mention it for other players when they are putting players in spots they aren't playing most of the times since this video is more about how people are interpreting the data instead of trying to help out someone specifically
