Before anyone asks about the fact that these are only Pro League stats, he's also by far the highest rated this year at big events with a 1.38 (Ax1le is in 2nd at a 1.25)
There is definitely an argument that he hasn't done it in big stadium playoffs, but we've only had Kato playoffs so far this year so on current form I'd still give it to ZywOo.
Oh and the final obvious point is that s1mple has been in a bit of a slump up until Pro League - and even then I'd only have ZywOo a bit above him (and a couple of others)
I think there's a distinction to be made between play by play analysis and stats.
Your video is focused on the play by play analysis showing Zywoo as extremely good but there is no play by play comparison with S1mple in a similar situation showing how Zywoo had superior decision making.
You ultimately relied solely on the overall stats to make your point that Zywoo is the best.
There is a disconnect between your video and your point as to why Zywoo is the best.

Also you kinfld if brushed of the significance of stats which show consistent characteristics. No one is fundamentally smarter than Zywoo. S1mple has great game sense, experience. Maybe second to none but he's more reactionary and uses his team. This is just my impression. From clips you see, it's much harder and rarer to imitate Zywoo.
I think Zywoo is the best example of a player who plays technically perfect CS. While it’s hard for a normal person to learn anything from a player like s1mple, who succeeds on raw aim and incredible instinct, Zywoo plays every situation as cleanly as possible with great crosshair placement and positioning (of course, he has the aim too). These are skills that are much easier to replicate yourself and actively get better at/practice.

I always thought this was the best way to differentiate S1mple and zywoo at their peaks. Whilst they achieved similar numbers from 2019-2022, the way they did it was completely different

He is the best. He's also humble and not flaming on teammates mid-game of after, unlike s1mple. That's a huge factor no one dares saying out loud

As someone who's also trying to learn and understand how these plays are made at the highest level, I seriously would argue that Zywoo could become one of or the greatest in the way he responds to situations and backs them with his godly aim. It's just he isn't multi majors winner like device or God level dueling like simple. Zywoo actually out maneuvers and outbrains his opponents which in my opinion is the biggest win. It feels the worst when someone reads your moves and beats you.
yea if its the biggest win. he would be winning a lot more, im sorry as much as I'd like to agree Champs don't just become champs, there's always something missing and he's just missing something atm that he either is gonna get or not.

@@russiancommy s1mple wasn't ALWAYS carrying them to tournament wins until he got a proper team around him so your argument is kinda weak. Did he carry them to deep runs in almost every tournament? Yes! Did he win the tournaments? Most of the times, no. CS is a team game at the end of the day, and you do need a team to win trophies.

And we saw it with the time it took for simple to get the major (which imo was completely caused by his attitude cuz he already had some lineups capable of winning) on the long run even simple would have won the major but being humble helps you much more than flaming teammates if they dont perform

Zywoo is that player that make less mistake in the server and hard to get without setup or bait&trade,
bro positioning is godlike, his awping style not that flashy but damn he hit his shot 9/10, his Rifle ? Probably the best on his team rn. aim and crosshair placement almost perfect. Not to mention his awareness is a cheff kiss. Combine that and you got best player you ask for.
He does what prime astralis device, but he does that in younger age and he still have lot of time to improve more

Vitality are dogshit. The only thing that made them look good st pro league was deity level form from zywoo and jackz having his best ever tournament out of nowhere. They still got eliminated in embarrassing fashion, just like at kato.
This team cant even get pass quarters at kato ang pro league. Zywoo is always godlike at group stages but fades in playoffs.

honestly sometimes i play against people who play like that, just crazy hard to hit and fast movement, seeing it from the enemies pov really gives me flashbacks lol, ofc zywoo is just fuck ton better than people in my matches, but i see the playstyle now, you need high confidence for this
and honestly i've always been trying to play like this, i never understand why even top players peak and then if the enemy is not peaking them they WAIT for the enemy to peak without moving, they wait for the enemy to move into their crosshair WHILE THE FUCKING ENEMY HAS THE SERVER ADVANTAGE BY PEAKING YOU, makes 0 sense and I see it in high level and pro play all the time
it literally feels disgusting to wait for someone to go into your crosshair instead of peaking (or peeking whtaever the word is)

The HLTV guys that makes the top 20 explained the top 3 criteria and it was titles and tournaments performances. Navi and vitality had better results than cloud 9 in tournaments, thats why s1mple and zywoo were in ahead of sh1ro. Between s1mple and zywoo, they considered the consistency. S1mple played at the same level for the whole year, while zywoo wasn't too good at the first semester, but was dominant at the second semester.

the only reason vitality is not #1 now, is because Zywoo is playing 1v9
Zywoo simply does not have the raw energy and power that S1mple does. He plays too defensively and he is more reactive than active. Even when he's pushing he tries to hide. His aim is great and he can hold down a site very well, but he's never the monster that just hunts down the other team and kills them all. Having a higher number on a chart doesn't make you the better player if you got it by holding angles and playing defensively. Nobody is impressed when you hold an Awp angle, when Stewie2k peaks with an AK and sprays down 4 guys that's what people remember.
I agree but he's been performing excellently recently still. Different styles also, although I also think that in his prime s1mple has more impact.

Personally, I feel like s1mple is the best player in the world, certainly the GOAT.
One thing that stats fail to capture is something like... gameplay irreverance?
s1mple's playstyle of insane aggression, cold-blooded decision making and raw skill make him such a disturbance to any opposing team.
While Zywoo has better stats, his playstyle is much more "the basics turned up to 10000" and while he is insanely strong (certainly the best player) when it comes to that playstyle, that playstyle is much less effective at conditioning the enemy's playstyle.
For a while now ZyWoo's stats have been better than s1mple, but while ZyWoo crushed the enemies at playing the defaults, s1mple forces the enemies to play an entirely different game, and that to me is much more valuable.
