I am a dollmaker myself, and a maker of a lot of other things too. I did part though with some of my wallhangings/quilts the past three years. I took pictures of them for rememberance :-) Love your lace gloves! I remember my first and only pair of lace gloves, when I had my "First Communion" (catholic church). I was 11 years old and it was back in 76. I remember my mom had sewn my white dress. The stockings, gloves and headpiece we got at a local hat shop, which carried other things like gloves and such. My aunt, who became my godmother bought the gloves and a rosary and also a prayer book for me. :-) Oh, and of course the huge white candle with the dripping ring made from white lace and a hankerchief to hold the candle with, in white cotton with lace border and monogrammed. That was all a long time ago and your gloves made me remember it. :-) By the end of this week I am going to finally plant my seeds as well. It was so cold in Germany until now. I really need some warm weather urgently. :-) This year I am going to plant Hokaido pumpkins and water cress, sunflowers and Digitalis Purpurea, Calendula Officinalis and Tagetes Patula Nana. :-) Huggs from Rose-Cottage, Schurwald Forrest, Germany . A few years ago our community experienced a severe wind 🌬 shear. Hundreds of trees throughout the town were pushed down by strong winds. In our neighborhood downed trees covered the roads. In our own backyard we lost a 150 year old oak. It took the rest of the summer to take it apart. Prior to the storm my yard had mostly shade. Now it is a full sun yard. I miss that old man tree but now I have so many beautiful flowers 🌸 and plants 🌱 that thrive in the sunshine 🌞.
I can certainly appreciate the adorable little clothes. I used to sew doll clothes for the grands. How tedious each stitch and buttonhole was but made with love. Your talents are just beyond words.

I’m a little older than you but I remember being raised in the county and hollyhocks were alway planted around the outhouses, I assume due to their height to help hide the “necessary” building. I’m no longer able to garden but I will never lose my love for it. I’ve always enjoyed perennial gardening and giving away or trading roots. Your rabbits are beautiful! Thank you so much for this!

I learned that lesson about peonies many years ago, when I planted roots about 8" too deep. Amazingly, they actually showed up thru the earth many years later!

I am always happy to see you are there!! I wish my granddaughters could see your rabbits. They are so interested in the face painting and making clothes for the small dolls . I can't explain it to you. Because I don't understand what they do myself. I just know they are so gifted and I am proud they use their hands and minds. They actually sell them. I love flowers but have never gone into planting seeds and waiting for them to grow. I guess we all have things we like to do. Makes the world go round. Thank you for the granola recipe. Joyce

Its getting to be cold cereal weather so I'll try your recipe. Those bunnies are sooo cute! Love their outfits too! Key to planting Peony is dont plant the roots too deep or they wont flower. Good luck with all your planting.
I learned that lesson about peonies many years ago, when I planted roots about 8" too deep. Amazingly, they actually showed up thru the earth many years later!
