Drewnex has been the best so far for a number of reasons: using natural materials, shows structural integrity, aesthetic design and beauty with character, pleasant finishing touches by going the 'extra' mile, they get an A, well actually they should get an A+ because it was older guys showing up the young guys
This house wont stand a chance against bad weather, let alone tornado or hurricane. Brick, mortar and concrete makes a sturdy house.

So the first one is kind of like wood bricks / lego sorta' thing. Clever.
The second one is literally wooden LEGOS. That's fun. There was a gap, filled with... brown pebbles? 7:50 I assume that's for insulation? What exactly was that stuff? I was bummed we didn't see further into that house's progress.
The second is fancy Lincoln Logs. Also fun. What's with the leafy branches at the rooftops at 10:48?

La verdad....que de los nuevos métodos de construcción, debe ser el mejor. Es sólido, es continuo...está clavado, tiene muuuy pero muuuuy buena aislación térmica y acústica...Un detalle que me gustó es el marco de la ventana...bastaaaante espeso y éso asegura mayor aislación térmica.... El color dado con el barnizado es genial y muuuy hermoso. Muy buenos criterios de trabajo. Prolijo y práctico. ¡¡¡Me parece que es el mejor sistema mostrado después de las cabañas hechas con troncos desde hace más de 100 años!!!.

It's not creaky at all but those are only half the thickness or a real log, in Finland they're called as "light-log" because they're not suffient enough on their own to properly insulate the house in winter, and are thus only used for outhouses and other buildings that aren't heated in winter.

Let us see a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house with a family living it. They look like a cabin/week end house for the lake or hunting or vac house for the summer where you would live outdoors most of the day!!! I am the company making the pieces can afford a demo house complete with baths and kitchen etc...... What happens if pipe in the wooden wall bust or leeks over time ????
Sure, you can put it together in 15 minutes. How long does it take to cut the wood into those interlocking designs and how much does that cost? Pretty cool though.
Exactly.
While that certainly isn’t zero cost to build all those interlocking designs, that’s easily done in a very efficient mass production method in a controlled environment with sufficiently precise tools and jigs, so it ultimately uses a lot less time and should (if managed properly) result in less waste.
As much as materials are a significant portion of the cost of building, time and schedules that slip for various reasons are a huge issue, and they remove a lot of that risk this way.

Desculpa-me mas não vi nenhuma rapidez na construção! Digo isso porque se levarmos o tempo para cortar as árvores, aparelhar as madeiras, cortar as madeiras em módulos, montar os módulos, preparar as fundações, utilizar todo os tipos de ferramentas, utilizar vários operário para o transporte e montagem. A casa levou de 08 meses à 01 ano para ser finalizada a sua total construção.

I love all of these ideas.
They look simple to build.
And they all seem to do away with drywall (which I am COMPLETELY sick of here in America).
The only things I wonder about is durability, cost and I wish they would learn that glue can be your friend.
The Japanese didn't use glue in there construction methods nor nails and there house's with stood earthquakes

Try and find an affordable plasterer.

asphalt, drywall, composite flooring, and the worst invention of all time….vinyl siding…GROSS.
i’ve been repairing and remodeling these old new england houses for forty years, and i can honestly say i hate these old houses. HATE. this all solid wood houses are a sweet dream in my opinion.
what country are these solid wood houses built in ?
@@ginoasci these particular houses I don't know where they are built, but here in Germany the traditional way of building is called "Fachwerk" with a solid oakwood frame and bricks inbetween or from Sweden we adapted the block house system with walls out of stacked pine logs. Most people still build houses made out of brick though. This in the video is a niche thing I think

Fast, perhaps, but a gigantic amount of work went into the prefabrication of the site assembled components. And as you saw, it took a large crew to put it together. Also, there is a huge amount of wood in this structure. Granted that this home will have much of this exposed as the final finished surfaces, but still, that's a lot of wood. I'm sure it's a very fine home, but likely cost prohibitive for most people.

Здорово. Только этот дом нельзя назвать бревенчатым, бревенчатый это из бревен, а у вас из доски. Бревенчатый будет значительно крепче пожалуй.
