This is the show that got me playing FO3 & NV for the first time. And now there is FO London. Keep an eye on how Lucy's "Okey Dokey" changes throughout the show...The Ghoul always gave me Outlaw Josey Wales vibes.
I am a massive fallout fan played all the games and I have to say that they did a fantastic job with staying true to the fallout universe. The series is set 9 years after the events of Fallout 4.
Power Armour uses internal hydraulic joints and servomotors, the wearer is not weighed down because it’s more like a vehicle with its own metal skeleton and chassis that you drive and operate. The power armour in fallout works similar in principle to Ellen Ripleys mechanical forklift loader in Aliens.
The characters here are all original, so you don’t need to know anything from the games. The factions, locations, and timeline all follow the games however, so everything in the show is considered canon to the games, and vice versa. Also, it’s Walton Goggins, not Walter Groggins. And yes, the performance by Aaron Moten is equally brilliant. Can’t wait to see you continue.
5min in I already love Kendra 😍 I've never played fallout, but enjoyed this series enough to watch it twice...and likely a third time before the year is out!
"video game stuff" yes exactly, if you keep that in mind then the unrealistic things that happen will flow right by. Yes all original characters. The games have no real interconnecting stories or characters and they are not close in time to each other. Norm by the end of series is my favorite character. A timeline bombs fall 2077 Fallout 2161 Fallout 2 2241 Fallout 3 2277 Fallout 4 2287 TV series 2296 (from the Wiki) Ghouls are living creatures mutated by radiation, rather than killed by it. In humans, this typically results in an extended lifespan, if not functional immortality, real-time regeneration of wounds allowing for reattaching limbs, and immunity to direct damage resulting from irradiation. However, it also renders them infertile and changes their appearance, resembling rotting corpses ,burn victims, or walking corpses.
Moldaver: "Everyone knows who I am." Everyone in every reaction video: "I don't." (No shade. I thought the same thing the first time I watched this episode.)
Thr "people" aren't immortal, and the games never sat that even ghouls are, just that they think they age really slow. The aesthetic is stuck in the 50s/60s because transistors weren't really developed, so technology was in vacuum tube's still, despite "atomic power"

Interesting . . . thanks for the info!
The actor that plays Maximus (Aaron Moten) is brilliant. Him and the old fellow (Michael Cristofer) created an amazing scene.....
Can't wait for your reaction to episode 8. Until then I'll just enjoy the journey.
1, 4, and 8 are my favorites but the escalation from 2-7 on the way there is really good.

You had me at perfunctory. 👍

Great reaction and review!
Betty is Al in Deadpool
Ahhhh, okay. I have not seen any of the Deadpool movies, but I aim to change that! Thanks!
they’re all original characters btw

It's a "future" as envisioned by people from the 50s.
Also.... I don't think I've ever seen a Sriracha Plushie before 😂
