@@DanVilla7 Well installed my DC exhaust today. It is on the loud side but looks really good and I do feel a performance gain from it. When you installed yours did you have any small leaks where the band clamps connect each section of pipe? I am getting a very little bit air coming through at the two points between the front pipe and the Y pipe. Thanks in advance.
I had one leak but after messing around with it, I was able to stop it. Get it hot then readjust the clamp, that should help get rid of any leaks. I also used an impact gun that makes it easier
Any idea of the weight difference from stock? Possibly more important do those tips get the exhaust gasses far enough away to stop the soot built up on the bumper like the stock exhaust does?
I didn't check the difference in weight, the stock exhaust is actually pretty light, this could possibly heavier. It should help with the carbon build up on the bunper as they stick out further. I actually removed it so I wouldn't be able to tell your for sure
Hey, what did you end up getting? I’m also deciding between DC or Borla. The only thing with Borla is it may be too loud for my liking, but it sounds damn good! DC on the other hand has a deeper, bassier tone which also sounds good.
@@Apezilla hey man, sorry don’t have an accord anymore. i traded for a lemans blue e90 m3. but i helped my good friend put on his borla exhaust for his 10th gen accord. i really like the borla, but i think the dc sports is worth it just because the tone is better. i had to do the same w my m3. i wanted a louder exhaust but ended up going w the i have now which has amazing tone.

Bigger doesn’t mean better 😂 too many newbies think that way but here’s the truth: having proper back pressure matching engine is most important for horsepower. Of course the flipside is that loudness and appearance trump real performance 😂😂

Sounds better with the stock catback with your PRL front pipe and RV6 catted downpipe. Now it's starting to sound more like a boy racer civic than a refined mature Accord. I prefer the refined quiet sound of the stock catback for this reason. One of the reasons why I'm comfortable just leaving the phearable stage 3 tune on my car and doing nothing else. This car just doesn't sound good with an aftermarket catback.
Hey man a few questions, I just installed mine last week. Do your inner tips touch a small piece of metal? Also, when putting the tips on with the hangers- Did you push all 4 of them all the way back towards the little nub you have to slip it over?

@@hagios9691 borla sounds pretty good when everything else is stock. Once you add a dp it's way too much. Even this exhaust is a bit much for my taste (downpipe is the big contributer)
I believe its 2 1/4 after the y pipe connecting the mufflers. Its 2.5" from the downpipe to that point. When I had the exhaust it 3" all the way until the y pipe then 2.5 each side

Unfortunately, i don't want to go back to stock since i had to cut my diffuser just make the tips fit. I might look into adding a J Pipe as to what a lot of people are doing to reduce drone. That being said, am i willing to risk modifying my expensive ass exhaust for something that may or may not work? My head hurts

It is definitely loud when getting up to speed then once maintaining speed it's a smooth tone and not very loud

You're welcome ! It will fit without even having to fold the seats down comes in 2 boxes. You'll have room to spare

No additional equipment needed. You can buy a 3" front pipe like I have but not necessary

I gave up on it, I just accept that these cars don't sound good lol. I just run a catted downpipe, front pipe and stock the rest of the way back.

It won't be as loud for sure, because of the factory downpipe. It's actually louder than the video is picking up.

Those sound way better than this any day. I removed it after 3 days. But these are way quicker with mods, better tech, space, and looks.
