actually i got rv6 catted dp , plm front pipe , thermal rd exhaust , with typr r turbo oct93 im making 356whp . and the sound is wayyyy quiet than other exhaust :) perfect highway no drone, no neighbor complain
Sounds way better with the thermal. I just ordered mine. Btw, thermal is coming out with a 3 inch in a few months for the accord. I’m good with the 2.5 inch, with 3 inch makes more noise. I’m coming off of the Dc sports exhaust and it was loud with drone even in a stock setup
You can reach out to thermal directly. I saw it on their instagram page, they were looking for someone to test their exhaust on. Looks like they found someone already to test. They said it will probably be released in a couple of months and will use same drone cancelling as the 2.5 system. I talked to them via chat and email while I was working on my replacement unit.
@@Qiu_Media Thanks for the reply, I currently have the rev 9 exhaust and prl front pipe, I was thinking to get this exhaust and keeping the prl front pipe.
How the quality on your thermal? I just received mine, opened the muffler box, the mufflers are scuffed, looks like there is a hole in the weld, i see light shining through. Looks like a return unit or really bad QUality assurance. I called them up and they are sending me a whole new system.
Haha! After warming the turbo up a bit with some boost, what I do is full throttle and let off right when I pull the paddle and it sends all that remaining fuel down the exhaust
@@Qiu_Media ahhh I got you. I have a manual...so I've been researching like crazy of everyone's setups. I can't wait to start playing more with this car.
I did like the sound of the magnaflow based on some clips, but for the price of the thermal, it was made of a more durable steel which was hard to pass. They both sound the cleanest imo

Exactly what I was going for as well 😊
Post sound clips bro

@@OhanaVibes76 drob custom tune. went to track 5 times. none issue

I didn’t know that! Curious is thermal is going to use quad tips like DC or stock finishers still
Sounds like I may be waiting for an exhaust system till this comes out!
Where can I get info on this?

She sounds good man! Awesome video, also loved your thumbnail! Great job bro!
Sounds good, I love your Accord.
Hell yeah dude, sounds way better than the Rev9. Thanks to your video I’m now sold on the Thermal especially to preserve the stock exhaust valance.
I also have a rev9 exhaust and I'm looking to get this. Do you still recommend this setup after living with it for a while?
I didn’t like it with a front pipe and downpipe since itadded drone, but all stock it was good
@@Qiu_Media Thanks for the reply, I currently have the rev 9 exhaust and prl front pipe, I was thinking to get this exhaust and keeping the prl front pipe.
I see u put the stock exhaust finishers back on, did u have to take off the bumper to reinstall?
You don’t have to, it’s just harder to reach the bolt on the top doing it with the bumper on
What do you think about installing this on a stock 1.5T? And would I need to retune? Or would it be fine the way it is?
No retune needed. Should sound similar. Main draw is honestly the lack of drone cruising, but the good sound on full throttle

I didn't have any issues with mine thankfully, but sounds like they're taking care of you hopefully
what do you think about the borla s type with catless down and front pipe?
Not for me personally, hearing clips of the Borla on stock downpipe and front pipe was pretty loud already lol
more than confirmed to get thermal later! thanks bro! also....HOW'D YOU GET THAT POP at 6:28!?!?!? lawd....i need that

How the pops and burbles?
So for Rev9 it’s better if it’s fully stock, but Thermal R&D other wise?
In my opinion thermal is still the better of the two, since it’s more refined in its sound. For pure loudness, rev9 is good especially for the price

Are you running a stock turbo?
In this video, yes
what kind of wheels do you have on there?
At the time of the video, Tesla model 3 aero wheels
How’s reliability with the turbo
Put on about 3000 miles on the type r turbo now, no issues. Others have gone upwards of 80-90k on an upgraded turbo with no issues either
can this fit a 2018 LX ?
It can, but I believe on the LX there are rear exhaust covers, that you should probably swap out with the sport ones, so one extra step
Omg. Its a auto
