This is my most favorite food vlog by you so far, Samantha!!! Absolutely love it!! You have done it!!! This is exactly what I wanted to see and this is your STRENGTH: portraying real organic local food (in this case Hunza's). And you yourself participated in it's preparation! I have never seen this level of unique candid organic food preparation from Hunza, because cooking inside a home gave it even a further touch of honesty, candidness and most importantly human warmth. Your mother in law has a beautiful soul. May she stay blessed! Ameen. Even the food suggestion I left in the comment section of your previous vlog mentioned whole wheat chapshoro made with apricot oil, but what you just showed in this vlog is even better than that. This is indeed the REAL chapshoro, the 'chap de pitti' and I take your word for it & it's clearly visible in what you have shown us. The most unique part of 'chap de pitti's' preparation is the local bukhari stove in which you cooked/baked it. We need MORE of these vlogs! Dziękuję bardzo a thousand times!
Hey HH Your icon says you have a UA-cam channel too. I went to check it out but you don't have any vids posted. Are you planning on posting any? What part of Pakistan are you in? I love seeing all kinds of stuff Pakistan and learning about the different regions.
@@wpgjason, actually whoever wants to comment on UA-cam videos, they have to make a UA-cam channel. Just like you commented, and you are commenting through a UA-cam channel. But it's not necessary to post videos on your channel, one can only create a UA-cam channel just to post comments. So basically whoever is posting a comment on UA-cam, they have a UA-cam channel regardless of whether their channel posts videos or not. That's how UA-cam works.
Goes to show how little I know. I must have created this account 15yrs ago. Maybe youtube has grown beyond my skillset. I just thought from your comment and understanding of the food and culture that you were in a similar region and I'm really into Pakistan content these days. If you start making videos be sure to let me know. Cheers
My Gmail is on Google I think. You can get me there i suppose. I really hope you start posting videos soon. I just love the Pakistan content. Good luck with your channel.
Salaam, Samantha. So as for the food & restaurant suggestions you are asking about, I left a really good Hunza restaurant suggestion for you in the comment section of your previous vlog. Kindly do check out that comment. Hope you like that suggestion!
Peace be upon you, Francine. I actually recently ordered pure apricot oil from Hunza online. Hunza's apricot oil is very famous. People in Hunza use it for cooking and hair/skin massage.
We'd love to do that in the future as sadly there is really only one option for foreigners, sadly everything is catered to the super rich from cities. It would be amazing to have well-designed, affordable places for foreigners as you see in Nepal and Thailand.
Let me know specific FOOD and RESTAURANT videos you want to see us vlog about! 👇

It's good to see my best friend grown up bushoo 😂
As I was watching this last night, I said to my husband, They are living in the closest thing to heaven on earth! And then the food! 😮❤
Gilgit-Baltistan is indeed like a glimpse of heaven on Earth!!! Hunza is located in Gilgit-Baltistan province/region of Pakistan.
