Best thing to do first time going to the north is go on your own/rented car resting and enjoying the spots along the way. Stay the night half way at some hotel and also go via Naran/Babusar route (if traveling in mid of summer as Babusar is closed during winter due to heavy snow) this route is shorter and much more green/scenic. Buses dont go that way due to high elevation of Babusar at 4000m+. You can fly in future trips.
Pro Tip: You should've planned your trip with a tour company in Pakistan. Your experience would've been 100 folds better cus Pakistan isn't really a country where you can just navigate around and explore places by yourself, unless you're a local. With that being said, I'm genuinely sorry for any uncomfortable experiences you've had. Loving your vlogs regardless!
