@@eudoriofilhoYep, I agree. For me, To be loved was definitely the song that did it for me. I was almost in tears... it's such a beautiful song!

I'm actually shocked to see so many people in the comments saying that it's 'a difficult album' and 'it's a grower'. For me it was an instant love. No, I wouldn't listen to certain songs every day (because they're so deep and emotional) but all the songs sound so magical, funky, different and the lyrics are amazing.
It’s a grower to me because a lot of the songs are quite slow and on my initial listen I’m too excited to hear all the songs on the album that I tend to gloss over the amazing aspects of certain songs. It’s definitely grown on me a lot, I remember not liking this album on the first listen 😭.

I feel like a lot of people knew Adele from 21, and that's the sound they're used to. But being an Adele fan from 19, I felt like this jazzier, funky, experimental Adele, was very much why I fell in love with her in the first place.
Me too. I mean I love 21 and 25, but a 19 needs to happen once a while
Yeah, her most experimental song like Tired, Cold Shoulder are from 19

Adele was so truthful with those lyrics;
She literally exposed her soul and sang us about her pain after divorce, how she was
dealing with moving on, being a single mom, emotional issues n she turned it all into this great album.
Such a queen. 🪐
Adele on an interview w vogue said that the conversations w her son in "my little love" were ones her therapist recommended her to record as one of her "exercises". she eventually decided to add them on the album :)
I Drink Wine was originally a 15 minute song but her label said to cut it because radios can't play 15 minute songs.
Now, we need I Drink Wine (15 Minute Version) (From The Vault) or whatever Adele likes to call it.

She could have at least marked Oh my god and strangers by nature
Now oh my god coulda been marked 😭
The entire album is inspired from the sound of 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Strangers by nature was inspired by her listening to judy Garland songs. She is providing musical, soul, R&B, blues, jazz, Country, gospel, and her signature Adele style.
I did love the variety! All blended with Adele's very unique sound. I feel like there's at least one song on here for everyone, but I personally enjoyed most of this album ✨

It’s sooooo goood. Her best
@@quillber I think* that they mean that the layers of not only musical awareness, but skill in executing something that touches several sounds from different time periods but still is genuine and contemporary is something that people who are deeply in-tune (pun intended) with music history and music composition can appreciate on a different level than people who are not as aware of those elements. This isn't to say that it can't be greatly enjoyed by people who aren't as connected to that side of music but there're musical easter eggs everywhere in this album that increase its appeal.

This is a very personal album for Adele and I guess all tracks wont be relatable, unless you’ve been “there”. It’s deep and sometimes confronting. Not always easy listening. A bit like life
Exactly! Even though I'm a big Adele fan, unfortunately I'm having a hard time connecting with this album, maybe because I've never been thought such deep emotions (children, divorce, aging).
The thing for me is, I’ve seen enough in my life through other people that I feel like I’m looking at certain situations through another perspective. But “My Little Love” made me feel like I went through it myself and that makes me love it so much more.
Girl, let me hug you. I cried through this entire album myself. What a treat we were given.
I feel thay Ajay has been through a lot of things actually. That's what make her cry in "Easy On Me", I think so.

@@slaydensimeti Eh, I personally couldn’t listening to the hollering and yelling. To each their own
This Album felt like Adele was flexing with her Artisty, Musicality and Songwritting and let's not forget Vocals. She saved the Music Industry again...
This happened to me, it’s so sonically different in comparison to her previous works that on the first listen it was hard to connect. On my second listen… I understood the masterpiece she gave us. Like the lyrics are honest, thoughtful and deep.
this album, in Adele’s words, is hers. it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it, but i do feel that there is a very tall wall surrounding each one. it takes time to get through that wall, but you’ll eventually burrow your way through the more you listen.
In shorter words, it's a grower album.
It feels like this is an album only for divorced people or something. I mean, I’m not that younger than Adele, but I haven’t experienced what she’s experienced, so really I can’t understand this album. And from just a listener’s perspective, this is not her best album. Aside from a single, I can’t remember a single song and I can’t bring myself to listen to it often, cause I get bored like almost instantly.
@@gellynova i’m not so sure. while it’s completely understandable if it’s not for you, not everything is for everybody, i don’t think it’s just for divorced people. above all, the album has an overarching theme of maturity. many of the songs offer a lot of hope and offer a chance to take accountability for mistakes we’ve made in the past. it’s actually a very complex album - again back to the point of it being ‘a grower’.
@@gellynova but the themes of her album are loss and learning from it. While not everyone may experience divorce, we still have felt that devastating loss in our lives.
@@gellynova hmm i don’t believe that you have to be a divorced person in your 30’s to understand this album?
2:50 is the most beautiful part of this reaction...... When she actually cries her heart out, it's just so real that anybody can cry with herself. This is just an incredible moment that it looked like she remembered her past........... Adele can do that tbh. She is the most real and personal artist 4 everyone. ❤️
this is one of the most raw, relatable, and honest albums I have ever heard. The vocals, the lyrics, the instrumentals, everything was top notch. 10/10 album.
To be loved is propably the best song Adele has ever created

This is the hardest Adele's album to connect with bc it is from her perspective ONLY, but it really grows on you 💖
Hey AJayll, kindly to me seem "Oh my God" is one of the best produced songs on the album, the production starts following a very beautiful beat, and goes in a game of very delicious ascending harmonies that explode in a very soul choir. I think if it doesn't catch you like me or other people, it's understandable we all experience and feel music differently. But personally I consider this one of the best on the album.
Thank you! I died a little inside when I saw Ajay react to it negatively. It’s such an epic and empowering song.
Yes! One of my favorite tracks!
Props to Greg Kurstin for producing it
I am so surprised she didn't like it, it is one of the songs that you usually like on the first listen. It is so catchy
I think we’ve been lucky to be able to connect with so much of Adele’s music over the years, but something I’ve learned about her is she doesn’t write (and has never wrote) music for the fans. This is music for herself and it’s sort of a personal diary that she feels empowered enough to share with the world. So I take in everything she writes as a “fly on the wall” so to speak and I love and appreciate her for it, and I think that’s what makes her one of the most brilliant artists of all time.
@@rlovko9110 I’m honestly not sure you read this comment. Either that or you just didn’t get the message that was conveyed.
Adele is an essential artist for this time period. She brings the essence of Dusty Springfield, Duffy and Amy Winehouse. She’s keeping Blue Eyed Soul alive.
That’s why I respect her so much
I always think about how funny or tragic it is that at that time Adele was the underdog of the scene, while Duffy and Amy were the "promising geniuses". But now unfortunately we don't have Amy with us anymore, and Duffy aparently has quit. Adele is indeed carrying that legacy.
@@greaterlordkusanali love this comment. Exactly what I was thinking.
So cool that amy and adele went to the same school

to be loved is everything. the last 30 seconds of raw emotional belting it, giving it her all, gave me chills and brought me to tears.
Fight me but I DRINK WINE is literally the best track in the album.
The one thing I love about Adele is that she's writing music for herself. I definitely felt that this album was a huge emotional release for her, and I love that for her. We may not understand what she's singing about but we can sure as hell still enjoy the performance.
“woman like me” is giving alllllll the amy winehouse vibes - i know adele has said amy is a major inspiration for her and in that song it especially comes through
It's very Lauryn Hill to me

I am literally listening the entire album everyday, and I realized that every new time you listen to, you fell in love with a different song, a lyrics turn into more meaningful, more deep. At the first time, I enjoyed "To be loved" a lot, and right now I feel that "I drink wine" is my jam, and so it goes.
I personally think Ajay was not ready - nor in the 'exact' mood to listen to 30. Anybody - everybody could have his/her opinion, but this album is a conceptual album, telling stories throughout the songs, and myself and most will agree that this album has the most honest, beautiful, raw, and brutal lyrics Adele has ever produced. Not only lyric-wise, but the sound, the tone, the melody, the stories are so fresh and different, but they scream Adele. I don't think this 'initial' reaction did justice to the album. As for my own opinion, I may have least favorite tracks on '21' or '25', but good god every single song on '30' is a favorite; it brings out joy, sadness, loneliness, and aches out of myself - and i am happy to have those emotions wrecking my entire existence.
I agree.
Ok, bye
10000000% agree
If you are saying that anybody could have their own opinions about Adele’s recent album, then why did you say at the end of your statement that this so-called “initial reaction” did not do justice? Wasn’t that contradictive of what you’ve stated at first, though?

I wish she kept to her old style. How sad 30 has not one song as strong and epic as Set Fire to the Rain! Except Easy on Me and I Drink Wine, i didn't find much to like about 30. Maybe it's a grower... I'll be giving it many many tries cuz it's Adele.
@@joeyou2954 well 30 is actually her old style. It resembles 19
This whole album gets so much better with each listen. I swear, I’m obsessed
So glad to hear that this album will get a revisit! I love that Adele produced something for herself, and was vulnerable yet still shared it with us too. I for one really enjoy her tapping into different influences and styles of music; I think a lot of people forget that she can be more than just killer balads. Obviously the lyrics will not connect with everyone since they are so personal to her, but for me a huge part of experiencing an album is letting myself feel the emotions behind it (most commonly with songs in other languages). Lyrics can definitely be a massive component and a way people connect with music, but they're certainly not the only way to.

It surprise me that you only marked 4 songs out of 12 when I literally felt the connection to every song (especially the last 3 songs), therefore, I marked the majority of them except for My Little Love because that song was too emotionally raw and heavy for me to handle and keep listening. For me it's her most DIVERSE and MATURE album. she sounds amazing as always. HER BEST ALBUM IMO.
The way Adele shows that the grief of heartbreak and loss is not linear and we all heal differently is amazing
When I listened to My Little Love, I instantly thought okay, this album is truly Adele’s. It’s her gift to her son & to herself and we’re just lucky observers. Some of the songs didn’t do it for me but overall it was such a beautiful project & was more vulnerable than any album I’ve heard in a long long time.
I felt ajay when she started breaking down with easy on me.... that line "I was still a child I didn't get a the chance to feel the world around me" just hit me to my core
ajay crying during easy on me did something for me, her tears were so genuine
She did a revisit, but she deleted the video :( I loved it. That was exactly how I felt the first time I listened to it.

i really HATE adele's label (columbia records) for making her cut down i drink wine from 15 to 5 minutes, i also hate them for mentioning tik tok. they're so delusional and out of touch.
adele is a solidified artist with a huge fanbase, her preorder sales are insane. she doesn't NEED a tik tok track or short songs for radio play. it makes me sad we'll never get the full versions of i drink wine or all night parking

the album is already smashing with no tiktok track
Adele has never seemed to me as an artist who will need tiktok. Sure, she's mainstream and all the mainstream people are doing it, but Adele has always been good with her sales. it's like trying to fix something which isn't broken at all
@@koobyn i was already on the damn floor
Forever amazed by how Ajay manages to avoid hearing these songs. I've had "Easy On Me" on repeat since it came out - and yes, I still cry sometimes while listening to it! IMHO this is Adele's best album yet.
She may not listen to radio and may not have searched up it
@@takemyhand1988 she probably never goes outside then, I can ever escape it
I'm always been the kind of person that if at first listen an album doesn't get me enough, I won't probably listen it again. But in that case I really think that 30 really needs a second or a third listen. It's a massive album, and somehow from the moment you really get into it, you start loving it
My parents went through an earth-shattering divorce that rocked my world for many years after, so many of the songs connected with me. It helped me understand my mom’s position on why she decided to leave.
i’m seeing a lot of people say they don’t really enjoy “to be loved” because they can’t relate to it, but they can’t deny she’s a complete powerhouse on that track. it’s a standout for me, probably my favorite song out of her entire discography honestly. it’s about putting yourself first and doing what you feel is right even if it hurts, it’s when you accept that it’s time to call it quits. i think the people who can’t enjoy it now will come back to it at some point, because once you can relate to it you experience a different feeling. this album is a complete masterpiece, adele really did it for me
I agree it's my favorite song yet
I just don’t like the screaming and yelling
@@shizzlemywizzle1 context is key. she's singing about how she tried to make her marriage work for herself and her son but couldn't. you can't expect this album or any music for that matter to always be sunshine-and-rainbows because life isn't always sunshine-and-rainbows.
@@kkw. this^^^
It's a very heavy loaded song, and not the best to listen to when you're heartbroken. I got absolutely shattered by To Be Loved. Definitely one of my favorites Adele songs ever
This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. I don't get why so many people find it underwhelming-I feel like everyone is so used to overproduced music nowadays
I’m so in love with this album!
I liked the sound of the album. The lyrics fell flat for me and the vocal melodies were unmemorable.
Imho there are some stand-out tracks but then there are songs like "Can I get it" that are so underwhelming...
Has nothing to do with the production. The songs are boring. The lyrics are bad. The melodies are not tight.
The exhausting promotion was telling
I'm crying but I'm proud, I waited 6 years for this moment.
I really love the fact that you create such a safe place listening to Adele's album. Your atmosphere is so calm. Also it's so good that you're feeling and living her music rather than just "listening" to it ! Keep doing what you're doing, it's so great 🥰
I don't think I've seen Ajay sob this much before, and I'm not surprised because I think a lot of us sobbed during this album.
I marked everything on this album but Can I Get It. My favourite Adele album in terms of consistency.
30 & NFR! are the album I saw Ajayy cry the most, I think
Gurl i Love Can i get it
@@Euphoris Yaya other than these, Taylor Swift as well. Folklore (2 tracks specifically), evermore and probably two consecutive tracks review from Lover
One thing I really love is your genuine honesty and lack of sugarcoating when it comes to the musical experience. Music is subjective and that shouldn't bring in outside noise which I respect you for. Your channel is one of the reasons I decided to start my own channel. Loved this reaction ❤️
You are missed beautiful Lady. Hope whatever you’re going thru brings you back. Wishing you health and many blessings.
this album was absolutely amazing i listened to it for 3 days straight. people do not put this much of themselves in music anymore
AJay darling, are you okay? Are you going through a lot right now? I'm worried about the fact you cried like that the moment she sang the chorus, it felt so personal. :( I hope you're doing well, we love you.
To be Loved is easily one of the best tearjerkers ever, alongside Someone Like You. There’s just something about those songs that mesmerize you, not realizing your tears are bursting.
Anyone else looking for her revisit? It was there and now gone.
22:33 I miss seeing this Ajay, like in the entirety of the reaction video. I can't blame her for how she's acting lately, Little Monsters did her terribly wrong. I'm a LM too but Chromatica was really not it. You can't force someone to like a music that isn't their taste and act like shocked Pikachu if they didn't.
Love you, Ajay beech. Stay strong ❤️
Chromatica was the first time Ive seen her have to reserve her opinion out of fear. Like literally Chromatica was not it- not all of us were feeling the house music. Something definitely changed after that
chromatica is just a generic gay club album, a parody of what her music used to be. people should've not been harsh on her let away to defend an album like that
This album is Adele's lemonade moment truly
Exactly
I was about to say this. It has a 91 at Metacritic while Lemonade has a 92. She really came back with an album that could be on Lemonade's level.
@@thesilenttreatment6837 could be on lemonade's album? You quite don't understand who adele is!
are you crazy?
@@thesilenttreatment6837 hmmm I don't think this album could be compared to Lemonade though. Lemonade had personal elements but was also a social critic and denunciation of the African American predicament. Adele's 30 is mainly about her divorce and family. Moreover, while Adele did diversify her sound a little bit, almost all the songs on lemonade have a different genre. The only thing lemonade and 30 have in common (in my view) is that they are deeply personal, both address the topic of separation (ironically Beyonce is the one got cheated on, yet she's the one that forgave the man and returned to the guy who hurt her while adele moved on) and they are the highest rated album of the respective artists.
I feel like the break she had after April was generally a breakup from a relationship, when she reacted to ‘ sour ‘ the songs really hit her and she almost cried a lot and with this album it’s the same especially ‘ easy on me ‘. I really hope she’s okay :(
I literally said to myself "it seems like she's not just crying over the song." We love you Ajay!! Stay strong
Yes! Ajay was def going through it w/ this whole album, easy on me, i drink wine, and woman like me she was feeeeeliiing it, i think by the time she got to the end she was numb and groovin
why do u assume she was even in a relationship? thats weird
@@heartbeat7488 agreed, projecting like this is weird
please for the love of god let's not assume other ppl's private lives
It's actually surprising that not everyone liked the whole album. I blindly downloaded every track and added those to my likes, and when I played all the tracks on likes playlist, I loved all the '30' tracks omg! Like I loved them all on ny first hear, they are refreshing.
When I initially heard 'Easy On Me', I felt exactly the same as you sis. Don't know what happened to you months ago, but please know that you are not alone.
This album is a lot to process emotionally - and I think it does take a couple of listens to take it all on board.
Sonically, I think there's a lot of Etta James, The Supremes, Motown, Dusty Springfield, Amy Winehouse, Aretha, and Dionne Warwick. Just generally old school soul and R&B.
Also james blake with the opening song imo !!! 👌
@@D4rk4ura opening track is very Judy Garland - Adele mentioned when she was writing the album she'd recently watched the Judy biopic with Renee Zellweger and that inspired a lot of the record's sound. Which is where you get lots of that vintage, cinematic quality.
I don’t know but I feel some Lauren Hill on there too.
@@henrymathews3671 Makes sense, Lauryn mines a lot of the same soul influences that Adele does.
This is an album that you need time to internalize. On my first listen I didn't vibe with it but on my second and third listen I'm crying my eyeballs out and dancing at the same goddamn time. That's how you know this is THE masterpiece and not just a masterpiece
SAME
Same. At first I was like, "This... is...different..." But the second listen is where the true beauty of this album shines through. Now I can't stop listening to it. A true masterpiece.
YEEEESSSSS EXACTLY!!!!! Good albums are like ink, you gotta let that seep in the skin for it to leave a mark. First listen I was like ok cute, but by the third listen I was HOOKED
This album is gold.
It has a slow pace and really makes you sit with the emotions it's tackling.
I miss you girl i hope you are okay and had an amazing year

you're so fast. she literally just uploaded this. i-.
NOOOOOO the revisit reaction deserved to STAY 😭😩 Ajay put a goddamn mark on ALL the tracks
Why did you delete "30" the REVISIT video ????
The way she matches her headband to the album cover will forever be iconic
the worst part about coming early is not having the minutes of each song
You mean timestamps?
@@deniasxipa1735 yes
I do agree that in my initial listen i didn't connect with some songs, but listening to it more times made me love deeply the album, Adele was so vulnerable, personal, open, she just did this for her and her child. It was amazing.
you crying to this made me cry too.
this album is so honest and vulnerable.
