did you enjoy Season 1? Some of my friends who love the books didn't like it, but I loved it for the most part. Not as much as House of the Dragon, but much more than Rings of Power.
I rewatched the entire season recently, and I really enjoyed it once again. I can't wait for Season 2!!
The show clearly changed the power levels. Nynaeve and Egwene are both stronger than Logain and I believe Nynaveve is par with Rand.
Only super early. A couple books in Rand shits on all of them by a wide margin. Egwene and Nynaeve end up being top tier female channelers a few books in too, but not dragon reborn levels

Hey Sonya. I thought about doing a review of it (as opposed to a recap), but I decided not to because my review wouldn't have been nice, and I didn't want to be a downer for those who enjoyed it. Between you and I though, I found it pretty corny. Not as bad as The Umbrella Academy. I tapped out after a couple episodes of the latest season of that, but I was able to finish Shadow and Bone S2. With that said, I'm probably tapped out on any future seasons or spinoffs.
The short version of my review is that they crammed way too much into a single season. As a result, it was all plot and no character developement (with the exception of Genya and David). To be fair though, I'm pretty sure I found the books to be thin as well (with the exception of Genya and David lol).

@@bridge4 yes, both of these shows had decent enough first seasons, but fell apart really quickly afterward. I hope that doesn’t happen to The Last of Us! The first season was phenomenal.
ive seen a lot of fans of the games say that they didnt like some of the characters as well as the story of Part 2. but i totally disagree. i think that the characters, arcs, and story as a whole were awesome (and the gameplay is really good as usual). in terms of TV though, i wouldnt be surprised if they split the 2nd game into 2 seasons. whether its 1 or 2 seasons, im expecting it to be solid tho. and im with ya. i looooove that show so far!!
I’m surprised to hear you say this bc I loved season 2 of shadow and bone. That is one of my favorite shows. I’ve always been meaning to tell you that I appreciate you for being a real one. You didn’t let anyone get their racist two cents in about the casting of Corlys or the cast in ROP. You, Alt Shift X, Grey Area, In Deep Geek, Preston, and LML will always be my favorites bc of that. I won’t watch Why Create ever again. He thinks I forgot about his racist comments on the casting of Steve and I got a lioooong memory. Thank you for your support ✊🏾

Been through the series a few times and don’t recall this ranking system at all. At least the numeric part of it.

I watched the series and let me tell you this. The power levels don't make sense at all. The dark one appeared too strong, and then they nerfed him!? Same thing when they introduced Rand ex girlfriend she was said to be stronger than the darkone, but after his defeat, another dark character was introduced, and she was a no match? Lol
I prefer to be considered a ++1 than a 1. I find the new system of ranking, a little degrading. I'm a number 5, insulted.

And yet at the end of series 2 Egwene somehow holds back Ishamael for a LONG time by herself. (LOL)
