Would you be able to cover how we can implement sculpted shapes/bodies onto an existing assembly, most importantly, in order to be able to manufacture it? An example which I'm trying to emulate is designing an aerodynamic cover for a quadcopter drone's circuitry, which once manufactured, would cover the main electronics section, and act as a weather shield and improve aerodynamics. It can't just be a shape that covers it. It must includes the methods of attaching it to the drones main body such as screw holes etc
Suhayl Patel hey suhayl! Glad you’ve been enjoying the videos! This will he covered in part 3, and if not, part 4! In the meantime there’s a few ways to do what you’re looking for, the pull function I showed here can be used to match t spline surfaces to mount holes, or there is also a function called match that can do this for you too! In part 1 I covered how i had existing mount sections for this part to connect to the RC body (this is a 1:12 scale body for a model kit! That could also work for what you want! I have had this request a lot so I’m explicitly going to cover it in a future tutorial! (Replying from my personal account currently)
