You're obviously well adept at Fusion. But as I try to follow along with your tutorials, you wiggle the mouse pointer all over creation. You have to realize that your student is trying to follow your mouse clicks. When you roll the pointer around 5 times in a circle before you actually go to what you want to click, it can really be a huge distraction. Other than that, thanks for the knowledge sharing.

Cool. I had a thought for 3d printing a template to mark your sheet metal. Like a 10 layer thick 4 walled skeleton just to mark the edges. And add a dotted line patterned groove for marking fold lines with the same sharpie!

Thanks for the video. Its inspired me to draw up my parts for a product I manufacture. Much of what I make for the product are studs and I hem the edges so my customers don't cut themselves to shreds. I tried to do a flange and 180 degree it but that does not work. If I override the bend rule to .001 in the best I can do is 175 degrees. How would you go about this? I have my thickness set for 26 gauge galvanized -.0217 btw.

I'd really like to see how you create sheet metal in an assembly - I am having problems making a screen on a machine - create component in sheetmetal, press face in solid part, extrude to 1.25mm, pull one edge 2½mm and then when trying to add flange the system does not respond.
Up to that point it looks like it is done right -
How you design in assemblies - especially aligning holes seem to be totally dysfunctional

Hi Justin. Your videos are awesome, thank you! I have a question for a project I have at hand, its a wood firing kiln for ceramics. I was wondering if theres a method for creating a module or a brick in this case (31/2" x 21/4" x 7 5/8") and then laying that over and over again - as if to imitate actual brick laying. Most commonly when it comes to brick-work its a straight wall and you would only add a surface texture in the end. But in the case of a kiln the bricks are laid out to create various structures. It would be useful to use a module block in order to construct such a model, I would think. Kiln builders usually take a squared notebook and draw out all the layers of bricks to figure out overlapping and final layout. I was wondering if I could do that in 3d?
    Thank You!

@AerialLensVideo, that happens when you activate a specific component. When you drag your mouse over a specific component in the browser you will notice that a round circle (a radio button) becomes visible. When you click on the radio button, that specific component becomes the active component, and all the other components are grayed out. To make all the components visible again, you have to active the the entire model (the top-most assembly in the browser).
