I've seen another youtuber test this out with frostallion, you know, a pal that actually resists one of Xeno's two common stab types and hits super effective with it's own. The 15 vampiric frosts soloed while the other group without it died at the halfway mark.
You mean this? ua-cam.com/video/7n-KAvP1A0I/v-deo.html They tested on normal Xenolord, not Ultra. Feel free to test Vampiric vs Ultra yourself. Ultra deals more damage and has much more damage resistance, making Vampiric less effective. The pal type isn't too relevant either, I have tested Frostallions also; Ultra trashes Frostallions regardless of passives. There is no pal in the game that Ultra can't 2-3 shot regardless of passives.
@@PalworldRaids Understood. So basically ultra xeno is going to need several swaps of pals regardless since his dmg is just that high, and yeah, i forgot it was on a normal xeno that he tested it on.
@@neurosis51 Yes, exactly, the strategy of throwing 15 Vampirics at Xeno and sitting back expecting them to live forever doesn't work on Ultra, and Ultra is the actual difficult content, which is the real benchmark
@@mockmansini I don't think the DPS loss matters too much, you'd be able to kill Ultra with Diamond Body also. The bottom line is that pals are going to die to Ultra no matter what you put on them
Thanks for the video g! Im gonna do Vampiric Pals for everything thats not Ultra raids One last question (hopefully), starting to mass breed….. what would be the MAIN 10 pals I need (for Raiding and oil rigs)! Thanks for being the best cc out there tbh
For Oil rig gobfin player damage build or Vampiric / Demon God / Legend / Musclehead Knocklems or Fellbats, for raids you can probably mass breed Shadowbeak, Frostallion / Bastigor, Paladius, Orserk, Anubis, Jormuntide Ignis, Jormuntide and be covered. Vampiric is still going to be very strong against older Ultra raids like Ryu and Libero, since your pals outscale them at 60.
Does that mean that Legend, Musclehead, Demon God, and Serenity are still the best passives to have in raid pals for both Normal and Ultra raid battles?
Legend / Demon God / Serenity / X - X can be Diamond Skin, Impatient, Musclehead, or an Elemental passive depending on what is on the pal, For example, if your pal has 3 huge CD moves Impatient will be great. Or example a pal like Shadowbeak who has very high defense would benefit a lot from Diamond Skin. Otherwise just go Musclehead.
I have found the vampiric seems to cause a bit more damage when it is on dark type pals or when the pal uses a dark type move. I don't know for certain I need to do more research.
You can repeat the test with any pal you want, results will be similar, what matters for a test like this is that the Vampiric pal type is the same as the non Vampirics. FYI Ultra has fire attacks which are super effective against Ice pals, and he also has Holy Burst which deals full damage against everything
Does Xenolord Ultra gives something meaningful? Or it's just bragging rights? Cause Ultra Ryu felt that way. It's not like Bellanoir that has two actual different pals.
Xenolord just eat it... I gonna stay with legend, demon God, serenity and musclehead
