Marie Hélène Errera, MD, PhD and Anthony St. Leger, PhD speak about leveraging the microbiome to alleviate ocular surface disease.
Dr. Errera is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and retina and vitreous diseases. She completed her fellowships at Médecine Sorbonne University and Moorfields Eye Hospital and her medical degree at University Medicine Bichat. Her research interests include ocular inflammation and the epidemiology of uveitis.
Dr. St. Leger is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Immunology. He received his PhD in Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research interests include the ocular microbiome and its effects on ocular disease.
