Little is known about Mihirkul, but some information has been provided in the travelogue of the Chinese traveler Hiuen Tsang. On the basis of the same information, Indian historians have written the history of Mihirkul. The reign of Mihirkul was between 515 to 540 AD. Mihirkul's father's name was Toraman, who was the first king of the Huns in India. The capital of Mihirkul was at Sialkot in modern Pakistan.
