Seems like something Darth Tenebrous would have loved to get his hands on, or maybe a bit of inspiration for his own desired anti-Force plague. Yeah, the Rakata really were just terrible. The things they could do were terrifying, while the things they were willing to do were monstrous. The thing I think I liked most about them, though, was that they typically didn't exhibit the expected individualist infighting other Dark Side organizations might have had. I'm sure some of them backstabbed, and they weren't always the most united front, even just among themselves, but I enjoy that they still put forward a force that was integrated, and united, and not just every scheming prick looking foe every potential weakness, to elevate themselves, at the expense of everything else.
"They come, marching, believing themselves equal to the army of ancients that chained me. But I am not of their time. Their ancestors called me Soa, wrath and power, and knew fear. For I ruled a thousand worlds, and Korriban was my crown, Korriban my cradle and my testing ground. I have waited twenty thousand years, but I will wait no longer." ―The Infernal One
the rakata need more lore like this i think given their power goes everywhere from god killers to primitive conquerors with barely functioning FTL tech where i favor the stuff that actually makes them out to be very powerful. also i wonder if one reason the rakata refused to try and invaded sith space and pretty much just quartined that area was maybe when they tried to use the disease on the sith it didn't work and they turned it against them
@Craftlngo they failed to conquer it though the map was placed their cause they thought it would be a relatively easy win so they jumped the gun and placed a map their expecting victory was already guaranteed when in truth they were being played by adas who tricked them into sharing tech knowing they desired to enslave his people despite the facade of benevolence the Rakata decided to use as their starting tactics believing them easily tricked and awed savages
@Craftlngo they thought sharing tech etc would easily trick the primitive sith purebloods into blindly allowing themselves to be enslaved but the ruler of the sith at the time saw through them and played the game much better so not only he did he trick them into giving his people tech but then he would after revealing their plot push them off of korriban and start doing a counter invasion of Rakata territory and these the prime Rakata led by the strongest named Rakata we know of
This is terrifying. Really. Monstrous. It's good plague returned to them. It wiped them out. And other species did to them what they did to others. Deserved. Palpatine tried to create plague to,it turned people into zombies. May the Force be with you too
The refined zombie plague of palpy might be the closest thing to beeing worse, but i honestly think the rakata memory whiping plauge is the worse one. something like that one released on a world if it could infect a planets entertinments etc and then effect the people would be impossible to stop. the dc universe have a story where something simular happend where something accting like a zombieplauge virus spreads true any screen on any device it can effect, tv phone laptop bilbord that can show any type of video etc. 100s of millions of not billions was infected in seconds (Look up dcs dceased or something like that)
Idk if you’ve already covered it before, you’ve made so many hundreds of videos it’s hard to keep track, but I would like to know about the Rakghoul plague. Ik it mutates anyone infected into vicious monstrous creatures but other than that I don’t know anything about it
Awesome video as usual, but i have a question, why didn't you do any videos on the Skeleton Crew, i didn't even know it was a thing till now, i usually get info from your videos and was confused on how you didn't do anything on it
You know what'll make a great Star Wars Movie,.. The actual start of the Je Di,..the origins of the Je Di....bt Disney with all the money,..all the Star Wars Lore at their fingertips,..will absolutely f@ck that up...
Could you do a video on the zombie virus bioweapon the sith made during the old republic era novel Red Harvest. The idea of a force sensitive Orchid being used to create such a virus and the jedi who helped grow and cultivate the orchid before being kidnapped and stolen by a bounty hunter hired by the Sith. Thank you have a great day.
Honestly, i dont think the sith come up with anything worse, unless the grey ooze entiy north nul or something like that was made by the sith in some way but there dont seem to be any evidence of that. A plage like that, able to infect an entire world realy easly like that and with what it does is terrifying.
The Rakata was monstrous.
Seems like something Darth Tenebrous would have loved to get his hands on, or maybe a bit of inspiration for his own desired anti-Force plague.

The rakata is basically what palpatine dreamed the empire could be and then some pure evil
The Thought Bomb used by Darth Bane comes to mind
"comes to mind" … nice! 😂
Man, no wonder the Infinite Empire was so feared across the galaxy. They literally invented the Star Wars equivalent of Alzheimer's. *_On purpose._*
The Rakata were truly terrifying and evil

But the Rakata conquered Korriban and at least parts of the Sith empire. Otherwise Revan wasn't able to find a Star chart on Korriban

Let’s go awesome video Stupendous and enjoy that you’ve done a Rakata lore video and I’m a huge Rakata fan and so glad you did a video on them
Unbelievable! That's the most deadly Dark Side Bioweapon existed before the Sith!
This is terrifying. Really. Monstrous. It's good plague returned to them. It wiped them out. And other species did to them what they did to others. Deserved. Palpatine tried to create plague to,it turned people into zombies. May the Force be with you too
They got what they damn deserved 😤.

@@baldrian22 this is even more terrifying. You're right
Mental plague. Well, just look around you. We are there!
Awesome lore and video!
An echo will always reach, no matter how much you try to muffle it
Ive been wondering what ultimately led the rakata to lose force sensitivity for ages...makes sense now

Day 727 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
Never heard of this. Where did you get this info?
What a terrifying species
Good soldiers watch early, like, subscribe and share
It's " Despair," not "fear", and they " fell?" No. But you shouldn't mistake the 2. Despair and fear I mean. You can only do what you can.
First sith here 🙏🏼
