Godric meets the sun with Sookie's support after the Fellowship of the Sun fails but does send a suicide bomber to Godric's home. Godric is relieved of his position as Sheriff by the Authority. We see Erik in a new way as he pleads with Godric not to go. The Fellowship of the Sun story line culminating in this scene was the best of True Blood.
