He is great! One of the drummers I studied coming up. I played in a band where we played a lot of the pumpkins songs as covers. Jimmy isn't playing this song exactly like he used to. The studio version is very close to what I've always heard him play live, and it seems he is missing a few tiny accents that he is known for in his playing. But even still, lol, dude is better than most drummers we get to here these days.
Not sure if you're replying to me or just trying to impress the general population, but my comment didn't detail my reasoning, history or experience in drumming and music at all. Some people are older, smarter and more experienced than you think. UA-cam is accessible to all, after all. I think your comment on fanboys who repeat what they say to give the illusion blah blah blah just seems a tad elitist and prejudicial. Kind of presumptuous comment overall, really.
This makes me happy. Billy will always be the voice of the pumpkins, and even with his amazing guitar riffs, the sound wasnt the same without Jimmy's heavy drum hands.
@@caiusmadison2996 get what you mean, but if you a good female bassist/singer, it does the job. Always thought melissa auf de marr did a great job with them. Also, big props to jeff shroeder, he's really helped push them forward
@Steve Sherman I would argue that having tenure under an opressive, control freak front man like Corgan is a major issue she didn't deal with in a healthy manner. I am in agreement she has made poor choices over the years, however, I think I understand why for some of it. I would never work with a person like Corgan as he is not a good person, just one of those power driven individuals who walk on whoever and whatever it takes. This is verbatim recounted by other musicians of his time as well, not just every other pumpkin. He's toxic, and when you are hooked on drugs around toxic people, it never ends well for the addict.
Seeing as the comments are mostly about his looks rather than music, I'll add, he looks as he always does totally amazing, gorgeous, & he's my god any day xxxx
This was the first Pumpkins song I ever heard and it was right when it came out. This was part of the comet known as GRUNGE that hit the planet and killed the hair bands.
The pumpkins predated the 'so called' grunge movement by some way. The name hated by all the bands included under the Seattle umbrella. They were all so diverse in sound and looks.

@Steve Sherman Yes, I have seen her recently and it is a shame what she has done to herself. To me, D'Arcy will always be a part of the Pumpkins. It also looks as though she has had some plastic surgery. I still remember their appearance on SNL when she wore that lace top, horns, and the black makeup under her eyes......she looked gorgeous!

I’ve seen Billy so many times slamming other 90’s bands for lack of talent and musicality. If I walked into a bar and heard this rendition of this song, I’d go back to door, get my money back, and go to the next bar and put it in the jukebox. And play maybe play Nirvana just to spite him.

Nicely done
Billy Corgan's transformation to Uncle Fester nears completion.
Yeah, wearing some vampire clothes n shit
"Don't overlook my butt, I work out all the time. And reaping burns a lot of calories."
What a douche, Billy must've been buttraped as a child like Korn's singer. Explains the shitty music as well.

Darth Vader when his helmet was removed.
Steven Samson looking very Sith Lord.

Caius Madison under rated? Are you serious?! He has massive respect in the drummer community, the media, and fans. You know nothing if you think that

Original lineup 👍🏼 but Darcy is looking rough.......
I adore this song, I love how it sounds in Eb tuning too
Anyone else think Billy looks like a Cenobite from Hellraiser, or is it just me? Great band.
That’s a no then. Embarrassing for you
Billy needs a few pins sticking out of his head. Lol
Thought I was the only one. Lol. You're not alone.
Great vid!!! They sounded great and actually billy looked happy to be there 👍
Why Billy look like emperor Palatine?
Let meow
James Iha and Billy Corgan on stage again... Simply beautiful
corgan, iha, chamberlain. All you need.
Still should have D'Arcy. She was a main staple for their big years. It's sad bands get where they can't just do it for the fans.
