It was good but Amalie Bruun didn't follow the unwritten heavy metal code...When you cover Snowblind, you are supposed to scream COCAINE at the end of each verses.

I had no idea Billy and pumpkins covred this, even though in that Pumpkin Pi Muff promo, he said he wanted a Sabbath sound when he starting using the original op amp muffs. I like this cover and her voice better.
Amalie is an astounding talent. Multi-instrumentalist and classically trained singer. Her tracks in Myrkur that switch from folk to atmospheric black metal are just phenomenal. As much as I like the Pumpkins, she has a lot more talent than Billy Corgan does these days.
Yeah but Myrkur songs are boring as hell, pretty mediocre music heard it one billion times, it doesn't matter the sonic range, it can be as broad as you want, but if there is a lack in songwriting it will always be boring...
System's cover was better no disrespect to Billy Corgan or anyone in The Smashing Pumpkins. They still play great live and love them to death however this wasnt my favorite cover however the girl got a great voice!

By the numbers cover, not terrible but not super impressive either. Would've been more unique share vocal duties on certain parts. The first bridge would've been cool to hear them both harmonize, and that 2nd bridge should've been just Corgan for the intensity of it. This is probably one of those "It wouldve been awesome if you were there" moments.
I'm very confused by what I see here. This is quite an eclectic bunch fully adorned for Halloween, and yet it doesn't appear to be Halloween. The girl singer croons in a pleasing manner though. Odd bunch, but eerily pleasant.
I am a Myrkur fan. Her black/folk metal and old Nordic folk songs are awesome. Her voice is amazing, no, it's fvcking-amazing. This is flat-out the worst vocal I have ever heard out of her. I also grew up on sabbath and Vol4 was my cruising music, I also think smashing pumpkins blow and overall, this sucked on at least 3 levels: 1) Complete abortion of a cover 2)smashing pumpkins was involved 3)wtf Amalie?

I am a huge fan of hers as well and I agree. I also happen to know from experience how much preganacy can temporarily alter a person's vocals. It happened to my voice teacher as well by the time she was 7 months pregnant and she is a conservatory professor.
