I’ve been vegetarian but I always just eat the sides because my entire family eats meat im so grateful for someone who posted recipes that used for spices and balance with tastes and textures I want to start trying food thats are healthier as a vegetarian make my body feel good and aren’t plan or make em gag thank you so much
Yea that's exactly what I experience as the only meat-avoiding flexitarian at home! When I dine out, a lot of times I just eat the side dishes... hope you get to whip up some really delicious meal!

I didn't really like meat like that when I was pregnant either. It's funny because my daughter is 16 now and made herself a vegetarian at 12

Today I made the curried sweet potato with raita sauce for some of the teachers in my son's school to show appreciation and I love that they loved it! The raita sauce is so good I'm sad I don't have more. Thank you so much for your meal prep guide!

@@allisonavery7273 I am not strict vegetarian, but I avoid meat :) So I'm flexible with my food. I could just remove the ham from a sandwich and eat the rest of the sandwich, for example.
@@allisonavery7273 Some flexitarians will avoid meat for some meals but not all meals or only go vegetarian on certain days but not all days, for example.
@@allisonavery7273 If i prepare my own meal I try to make it as vegetarian as possible, but when dining out sometimes choices are limited so i will be more flexible. The rest of my family are not vegetarian. My daughter loves curry chicken so if we order curry chicken the rest of them will eat the chicken and I will just eat the potato and use the gravy on my rice, for example :)

Tip - to remove turmeric stain, wash tray/dish/fabric or whatever is stained, and put in direct sunlight....and walla - stain fades away into the ether....:)

there is plenty of pasta thats just made from semolina

I know it is late. But to reduce the the water in grated cucumber the easiest method is to salt and sugar it and then leave it for 2 hours. The cucumber will have leached it a lot of juice.Then you place the vegetable on a colander and tamp down with a spatula. Then add it to the curd

Can we substitute the cilantro, edamame and eggs in these meals?
Is a soft boiled egg safe to use in meal prep? Won’t it go bad after like a day or two?

Well, I just made the veggie part of the Mediterranean salad. It's delicious, but it took an hour of chopping before I could assemble. I still have to make the couscous. You have some delicious recipes, I just have to remember that your videos don't show all of the prep work. Being your own sous chef is challenging!
I agree and find this often w recipes and cookbooks that say "5 minute prep time." No way. I've been cooking for years and could never chop all that in 5 minutes!! It takes me that long to pull out my ingredients and knife and cutting board:)
