haha, my mom has been working from the same cover girl eyeshadow palette for 15 years. she places the eyeshadow on her eyelids with her finger, and she's never once blended it. the funniest part is that she is an amazing artist!

the boomer/gen-x mom makeup bag thing is so real....I constantly have to tell my mom she doesn't have to act like she's mining for coal in her eye shadow palettes anymore, she digs in those pans with a vengeance (with a sponge tip applicator no less) 😂 it's like woman, it's not 1986 anymore! we have pigments now, just lightly swipe the brush!

I asked my sister to do my hair for my wedding. We did a trial, it came out great. Day of, disaster. It's not coming out. I have a picture of my sister and my best friend on either side of me, with curling irons and I'm crying. Lol!

The mom's makeup thing is so REAL. Like my mom barely ever uses makeup, so she has SUPER old foundations. And I just feel like throwing them out, and getting her a new one, cuz that can't be good for your skin :S

I was the maid of honor in my sisters wedding & no joke it was the most stressful day of my life lol I was literally running from place to place because everyone forgot everything & we all forgot to eat & almost passed out during the ceremony. Didn’t help that it was outside during peak summertime. This was the first wedding I was in so was not prepared at all

Weddings are always chaos lol I used to be a hairstylist which I don’t do full time anymore but my friend needed a favor so I did her hair and makeup (she was the bride) and it was pure chaos and other people needed help
