I've only recently known about alopecia to the hair. I went to Marinello's School of Hair Design I've also just recently now that a couple of my African-American friends have it. Is this something more in common with African American type hair? I myself am a mixture of her half Native American a quarter Mexican and a quarter African American so I have long hair but it's really really curly I have to put mousse or leave in conditioner otherwise my hair will frizz I have stopped coloring and my hair so I am mostly gray and black now I'm waiting to get a little bit more gray hair so that I could do the gray-haired hair style . Okay so I guess the main question is who is more acceptable to alopecia?
That is one of my mayor reasons why I love doing hair, I love the feeling we bring to people, that boost of confidence, happiness, smiles and a hundred more awesome feelings that I share with them as well because it makes me HAPPY just seen them smile, and once I saw your client smile I felt this warm happy hug in my heart because you made her see happy again. I started watching this video on silent (still on the YT feed before I actually hit the video) and I felt sad for her because the damage was so widespread. That made me want to watch to see what the results would be. You did such a great job and it was so sweet to see her face at the end. ❤️
This is why some hair stylists are artists to me and have blessed hands. Somebody else would have just pasted a wig on the client and charged her hundreds of dollars. You gave her hope and I'm sure she was strutting like Naomi Campbell down the street the next day knowing that's her own crown she's queening with.

Most stylists are just not that talented. Most just cut off most of the hair which often leads to the client being frustrated especially if they don't know how to style short hair. I'm glad she did this tapered cut and left her with texture, volume and length in the top.
My hairstylist was able to create the same look for me. My edges came out with my last wig installment. So I just wanted to wear my own hair for a while. My style did something similar except I had a lot of bangs. You did a great job. I love how much she’s smiling at the end.

You were so professional! I lost my hair, it started to just come out in chunks, due to stress and hormonal changes. I lost so much confidence. I finally got my husbands clippers cut my hair all off! I have alopecia so I know exactly how she felt. That transformation was beautiful. She was all smiles upon completion. When your hair looks good you feel good. I live in Columbia SC but i will be traveling there for a consultation and hopefully a transformation. I've watched several of your vidoes and I'm sure that you have boost a lot women's self confidence. Beautiful work.
I started with the amount of hair she had left in the back and ended up with a twa. My hair has grown enough to use my 3/10" flat irons on once or twice per month. I can actually cornrows my hair. I'm working at a school in which my students and coworkers are very natural and respectful. I no longer feel sad and boyish about my hair. Now, I can get more of the texturized hair cut off. I have a spot on my crown that us always half as long as the rest of my hair. I look like my father and after a barbershop play day with my brother, got the short end and had horrible experiences in elementary school. Thanks for not just chopping of people's hair.
Yes ma’am you did it again. You did a amazing job. Some of the salons are only about the money but I love a hair care professional who really has the client best I interest at heart. I go to JcPenny’s and get my hair done, but my hair care professional is from Belize and she is all about teach me how to care for my hair. Since I stop going to a regular salon by that I mean get you in jack the price up and you still in the same position. My girl teaches me just like what you do and for that I am grateful. I go every four weeks because I wear braids and no they are not tight I am still able to moisturizer my hair and from my first visit I have plenty of growth especially where I gave up. It’s a process but I am up for the challenge. Thank GOD for the ones that truly love there Job and clients. Tfs be blessed
My hair was somewhat damaged like this flakes all the time had my hair sour I had to wash every two or three days. The best decision I made was to shave my hair off and and go natural washing it with spring water and never blow drying or putting any heat in it unless I’m doing a deep conditioning . Now my hair is curly and healthy
