Lost my hair also to alopecia. After a year of them telling me I’d never regrow I took matters into my own hands. I use minoxidil 5% morning and night. I use a laser brush 3 times a week. I take hair vitamins daily. I wash my hair every other day with cleansing shampoo. My hair is now 6 inches long after a year and I have only a dime size spot that never came back. I use Hairmax laser brush and the shampoo and conditioner. I use foligrowth vitamins.
@@bernettahill3883 Good for you my❤️. Always be your best self no matter what. For a bald head I say take care of scalp just like you would your skin keep it clean and moisturized.
I want to thank you for your frankness and your courage. You have shown me how to create bangs . You also gave me an idea to fill in other spots with the root covering spray. Once again, thank you
Ohhh yes we will, dear❤️-ing sistah! By God's Grace we indeed will. The video kept cutting off on me so nice to now know what else occurred. BRAVO! I've long ago pondered using colored scalp covering sticks/powders that I could only imagine ending up all over a white top and me saying EGADS! 🤣 So I finally settled to simply pamper my rear head hair by letting it rest completely; while wearing caps/scarves/headbands or nothing. And so happy I did! Now most that see me in a store or business fully understand and are teaching one another. Even White females who are afflicted with the same CITATRICIAL CENTRIFUGAL ALOPECIA and other types of alopecia. My goal is to aide all sufferers!
AMEN 🙏🏽 on that point, dear sista! If anything it caused me to become my natural researching, inventive self (similar to Ben Franklin and other inventors of old putting me in my natural element). Thank you for being transparent and teaching me to embrace my alopecia❣️ It broke my 💔 when my hair fell out. Leaving me to wear wigs. You inspire me to be more creative💯 Bless you❤️🙏🏾
BEAUTIFUL REPLY! Made me feel great as well regardless of WALKING PROUDLY in public with my bald sides & entire crown area which many look up to see my bald head in either amazement or astounded confusion or dislike and I simply laugh inside while they scramble to understand. But when I get an opportunity to self-teach someone who is interested as to what & why I'm ever so happy to alert them on the subject of alopecia and it's various types. Surprisingly, another knowledge arena not taught by Derma Docs or even other Health Practitioners which infuriated me and spurred me on my own quest for a "cure".
Some people can do anything for themselves. This is amazing. If you're able to make it look so nice on your own. I've done my own hair and that's it, but this is quite different. I guess you have to have lots of patience, but when you got done, it looked really marvelous. Be a happy girl

Thanks so much❤️ The confidence came with time. I had to realize that I still had my entire life to live. I’m speaking it!!! You will live in your confidence. Alopecia has nothing on you.❤️❤️❤️
I get that. In my case, I was 'normal', I "fitted in", and least of all I was "acceptable" in any environment social or work. But one day after a episode of severe Fibroid pains, I realized all that didn't matter. Society circles, Family, Friends, Church Members, especially EMPLOYERS dictating "proper corporate attire" were not suffering my Fibroid pains, nor my HBP, and nor my CITATRICIAL CENTRIFUGAL ALOPECIA. That I ALL ALONE was the only one I knew then to be suffering and my life turned completely upside down to say the very least. Then one sweltering near 102° summer day.....I finally said screw all those reasons! I'm going bald but I'm still that same beautiful Human that GOD created! And if others can't accept it or understand it then THAT'S THEIR PROBLEM, NOT MINE! Fascinatingly most people are fine with it long as you're satisfied and confident about it! Thanks for watching. I also have a sensitive scalp so I know exactly what you’re speaking of. If you make the ponytail loose and you don’t have the pins touching your scalp you should be fine because the hair is very light weight. I agree with what you’re saying embrace what you have and pray on it and it will grow so I been praying on what I have and you hasn’t left me yet so thank you so much.❤️
Great job! 👍 You could also not let the sides hang down, but smoothe them flat against your head, back into the bun. That way it would cover the alopecia areas on the sides of your head.

I enjoyed your attitude towards your hair. Keep up the great work on your Channel. You're many of us suffering with alopecia all different forms. We all need encouragement.
I have centrifugal alopecia. I even grew my locks back for two years trying to take care of what I had. But they were super thin. And I finally gave it up and I finally made the decision that i should’ve made years ago. To shave my hair really really low. I’m free! I absolutely love it! Should’ve done it years ago. Your style is Beautiful, you look great, and I love your creativity! Every one has to go through the process in their own way. Hair loss is traumatic.
Yes, it was traumatic for me as well. Luckily, it coincided with a period in my life that I wasn't concerned as much with peer pressure of employers and others thoughts about my appearance since I had retired from the workforce due to debilitating illnesses. Now I strut my nearly bald head with dignity and people still say I look beautiful, LOL 😆!
I too have discovered that deceased relatives have had CITATRICIAL CENTRIFUGAL ALOPECIA which led my research jaunt into the issue of it being hereditary and now affecting me and a younger cousin.
Sis- I appreciate this video sooooo much! I am challenged with alopecia as well and I am probably making it worse with my wigs and head wraps. 😢 This is definitely a journey in which I am in search of ways to just wear what I have with confidence. I love ❤ your energy, your confidence, your vibe! Keep doing it! Thank you so much!

Good job. Very pretty 🙂. You can use the instant edges to cover up the spots on the sides. Or take strips of that hair you're using and 'got to be glued' them on those areas 😉💕
Thank you Sister for the encouragement and the joy in embracing a condition that impacts so many....love your energy. I too suffer from alopecia and trying to decide to go bald...
I sincerely hope 🙏 that they will make something that will fix the problem of alopecia instead of just making money off people buying their products that don't work. You have done a great job of covering it up. Beautiful 😍
I really enjoyed this video it was very easy quick I suffer from alopecia I'm 60 years old and I just wear wigs because I had no idea what to do with my hair I'm crying saying this now I will step out to try new things on my own because I cannot find why I have not found a beautician that is consistent with doing my hair I even had one that made my alopecia worse than what it was God bless you sister for sharing
Thank you so much for watching. Many of the styles can be duplicated if you’re willing to take time and practice. Remember to always protect your hair from the glue with wrap strips and bond Protector.❤️❤️❤️
Never liked wigs but Temu, Wish & Shein websites all carry very breathable 'Open Mesh' and 'Frontal Lace' wig units that work during the summer [except on the hottest days]. As for myself, I feel best to just wear my nearly bald scalp as MENOPAUSE symptoms make it nearly impossible to wear wigs even in winter months (my scalp sweats even in winter!!!).
Bravo! Been dealing with alopecia areata since 2022. It grew back in pretty good last year. I got a quick weave last month and left it in for 3 weeks and I’m basically back to square one 😢. That glue is terrible for alopecia sufferers. Lesson learned! This time around, I didn’t get depressed. I’ll to back to doing my deep conditioning with my steam cap and massaging my scalp. I believe it will grow back yet again..🙌🏼
You got me excited for you. It’s so quick and easy. Let me know how it goes for you. No need to stay covered up, I’m sure you’re way to beautiful to keep hiding. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have Alopecia as well … I was tired of covering it up so I shaved it bald 🙌🏽so freeing but I will wear a wig to work and church but … I love it… you did a great jo

Shut the front door you did an awesome job. I said I may cry about a lot of things in life but being bald headed ain't one of them. Thanks Sis super cute ❤️ you just gained a new subscriber ⚘️
Amazing!! You look beautiful!! From a person with quite thick frizzy hair I can totally empathize on the time factor. Wow though and very interesting to see from the other end of the scale with regards to hair thickness. Total respect!
What about the sides, it looks nice but you could have used some black spray to fill in the thinness on the sides! It would really look good! I hope you consider the suggestion! Take care God bless. I’m glad you’re trying out styles and not letting your hair issues get to you.
Thk you!! I suffer from it too, I’m gonna try this. I massage mine, it’s my edges and crown as of now. My hair comes to my shoulders and no perm in over 6 years. You have good length as well
I'm so glad I found your channel, I too have frontal lobe alopecia. I shaved my whole head, because I couldn't get my wigs to stay on. Hopefully I will learn how to do it. 🙂
Thank you so much. You have uplifted spirit. I felt so alone & just hated on myself so much. You made me alive again with all that you are beauty inside & out👽🖤prayers strength & peace to all

Girl I found a great braider. But when times are tight I can do some stuff myself❤️Check out my other video. I also did my own braids. Thanks for watching
people just don't understand that who would want to have anything wrong with them, where they could not grow their hair all their hair will fall out like a lot of cancer patients, but I love strong beautiful women we are all beautiful in God's eyes and keep up the good work don't give up don't feel bad the condition that you are in because God Made You beautiful 💕 and people are just rude, I know this person trying to go and get silver highlights in their hair or even a full head of dark gray salt and pepper hair color on their hair and these white ladies that has a real nice salon that does a great job on salt and pepper blonde highlights on brown hair any kind of highlights to any kind of hair but it must be to only white women 😭 they wouldn't do my friends hair and her hair is very light blonde and they told her they could not get it blonde they couldn't even make it blonde and brown now I knew they were lying but it's okay because they can lie to man but let them try to lie to God !! But then again God bless her with hair and I'm glad she still have it, God Bless 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I have alopecia. No hair in the front but hair in the back. It’s frustrating because I’m new to this. I didn’t know the were hair that goes in the front of the head. That makes things easier. In all honesty I don’t wearing wigs, they make my head super hot. It’s so uncomfortable. I like what you did with your hair. Good job!!!
It looks lovely I too have alopecia but I don’t have as much as you in the back to make a whole ponytail but all of my top is gone all of the top of my hair is gone and it’s just hard to find people who would take the time do you know you know you understand you understand if nobody else does you understand but you look beautiful your hair is pretty and I did hit the hit the subscribe button so keep the videos coming thank you😊♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much for watching. I wish I could see you. I’m sure there’s a way to give you the hair slay you deserve. Keep looking in your local area or on social media. Took me a long time to find a braider that was willing to take risks. If you’re on Instagram put Alopecia braider in the search and those girls show you how to do it step-by-step so if you find somebody who can braid and they’re willing to take a chance I’m sure the more they try they will get better and thank you for allowing them to try. That’s what I did.❤️

Thanks for the video! I have alopecia too. My crown is short, will not grow, but the sides and back are still growing. don.t have complete baldness, but my front growing slow and my crown will not grow anymore at all. But since I have some in the front, I just do clips. But I was trying to find a way to put bangs with color, I wanted to weave it in, but I like your idea, you did not have to put it on the sides. great Idea, thanks!
I appreciate you ❤️ confidence comes from knowing who you are a realizing that we are all here for a purpose. Things in this life are not happening to you, but they are happening for you. Have you tried jamaican black castor oil?? That stuff really does help with growing back hair. Try vitamin D and B12 to sometimes we lose hair because our vitamins/minerals are low.
Definitely can relate. I didn't have any edges for a while, back in June, I started using Vick rub on my edges and stayed away from wigs and braids and my edges grew back. Two months my hair grew and my edges. I do recommend Vicks rub for hair growth.
Both. After you grease your hair then put some oil in your hair so the smell won't be loud. Another way it can be used is put it in your hair overnight then wash it out.
Hi how is everyone, did you say you used Vicks vapor rub for hair growth, and if so will that help for alopecia to, yes she did that I appreciate it, I just cut mine off, boy cut

You are creative I am very impressed I was just complaining about my hair look at god to send this video my way thanks
@@ingridjackson6238 I’m so glad you found me❤️ Check out some of my other videos for hair inspiration
Attitude of gratitude! Take care of what you DO have! ❤
Absolutely ❤️ Thank you❤️❤️❤️
Love to see the confidence lol….
Just missed gelling up all around the edges and back
Thanks for watching ❤️
Good job. Very pretty 🙂. You can use the instant edges to cover up the spots on the sides. Or take strips of that hair you're using and 'got to be glued' them on those areas 😉💕
Thank you for the tip. I did that in my last sleek ponytail video ❤️
My hair is very similar to yours. I'm learning how to make the best of it
.
Thanks for sharing this encouraging video ❤
I appreciate you ❤️. Just have to work with what we have. Let me know if you have any hairstyle suggestions that I can try for you.
You never know what people are going through. Great Attitude 👍🏿 God Bless
I’m all good over here. Going the through this is all in the past. I’m over it and happy ❤️
Thank you Sister for the encouragement and the joy in embracing a condition that impacts so many....love your energy. I too suffer from alopecia and trying to decide to go bald...
I say try being creative before you decide to let it all go. Continue to slay alopecia ❤️ Sending you❤️❤️❤️
New sub!!! I love your willingness to show your hair
I appreciate you ❤️ Thanks for watching. Feel free to check out so of my other videos
I sincerely hope 🙏 that they will make something that will fix the problem of alopecia instead of just making money off people buying their products that don't work.
You have done a great job of covering it up. Beautiful 😍
I hope so too. It affects so many women and men it’s crazy.❤️❤️❤️
"Alopecia Where?"😂❤, you are beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial 💯
😂😂😂Thank you so much❤️thanks for watching
I really enjoyed this video it was very easy quick I suffer from alopecia I'm 60 years old and I just wear wigs because I had no idea what to do with my hair I'm crying saying this now I will step out to try new things on my own because I cannot find why I have not found a beautician that is consistent with doing my hair I even had one that made my alopecia worse than what it was God bless you sister for sharing
Thank you so much for watching. Many of the styles can be duplicated if you’re willing to take time and practice. Remember to always protect your hair from the glue with wrap strips and bond Protector.❤️❤️❤️
This taught me how to do my ponytail and bangs. Beautiful job
Glad to help. Thanks for watching ❤️
Amen cindyjordon, so agree and appreciate your comment. Yes, she is such an inspiration. God bless
Thanks for the support ❤️ I appreciate you
You made it look so easy. I'm tired of the wigs in the summer also. 😊❤
Thank you ❤️. You can do it! Just take your time
Never liked wigs but Temu, Wish & Shein websites all carry very breathable 'Open Mesh' and 'Frontal Lace' wig units that work during the summer [except on the hottest days]. As for myself, I feel best to just wear my nearly bald scalp as MENOPAUSE symptoms make it nearly impossible to wear wigs even in winter months (my scalp sweats even in winter!!!).
First time up here...Great video! Simple and doable even for frontal edge damage ... Thanks for posting...😊
Please check out some of my other cover up videos. I appreciate you ❤️
Yessss Sis you did that! May God continue to keep you! Big hugs Sis!

@@ceeo4life no need to thank me Sis. That's what I see Sis!
@@ceeo4life you are welcome!
Yes ❤️keep your hope and spirits up. Just know you are beautiful no matter what.

That’s right we get creative over here. Thank you so much for watching and welcome to the family❤️
Amazing!! You look beautiful!! From a person with quite thick frizzy hair I can totally empathize on the time factor. Wow though and very interesting to see from the other end of the scale with regards to hair thickness. Total respect!
Thanks for watching ❤️
What about the sides, it looks nice but you could have used some black spray to fill in the thinness on the sides! It would really look good! I hope you consider the suggestion! Take care God bless. I’m glad you’re trying out styles and not letting your hair issues get to you.
Thank you for watching❤️ I’m willing to try new things. Drop the name of the spray for me❤️
You’re welcome.. I don’t know I’ve only seen people use it.. I did google one it’s about $8.00 dollars called Jerome Russell

Thk you!! I suffer from it too, I’m gonna try this. I massage mine, it’s my edges and crown as of now. My hair comes to my shoulders and no perm in over 6 years. You have good length as well
Thank you so much for watching❤️ We will work on this Alopecia together ❤️
I'm so glad I found your channel, I too have frontal lobe alopecia. I shaved my whole head, because I couldn't get my wigs to stay on. Hopefully I will learn how to do it. 🙂
Thank you for joining the family. ❤️ I will be more than happy to show you some of the tips I use.
Thank you so much. You have uplifted spirit. I felt so alone & just hated on myself so much. You made me alive again with all that you are beauty inside & out👽🖤prayers strength & peace to all

Yes . You understand. I can't believe I can't find anyone to service me with my alopecia.
Girl I found a great braider. But when times are tight I can do some stuff myself❤️Check out my other video. I also did my own braids. Thanks for watching
Where do you live? My bestie does Alopecia clients @ Gidget Ford
people just don't understand that who would want to have anything wrong with them, where they could not grow their hair all their hair will fall out like a lot of cancer patients, but I love strong beautiful women we are all beautiful in God's eyes and keep up the good work don't give up don't feel bad the condition that you are in because God Made You beautiful 💕 and people are just rude, I know this person trying to go and get silver highlights in their hair or even a full head of dark gray salt and pepper hair color on their hair and these white ladies that has a real nice salon that does a great job on salt and pepper blonde highlights on brown hair any kind of highlights to any kind of hair but it must be to only white women 😭 they wouldn't do my friends hair and her hair is very light blonde and they told her they could not get it blonde they couldn't even make it blonde and brown now I knew they were lying but it's okay because they can lie to man but let them try to lie to God !! But then again God bless her with hair and I'm glad she still have it, God Bless 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thank you ❤️. We have to keep ourselves lifted up at all times. Thanks for watching
Good job!!!
Thank you so much ❤️. You should try this.

Have you tried jamaican black castor oil?? That stuff really does help with growing back hair. Try vitamin D and B12 to sometimes we lose hair because our vitamins/minerals are low.
I use all three now ❤️
Love it. Nice lady 😍🥰& truly admire the confidence.💙
Thank you so much ❤️
You are amazing ❤ you take what has been given and make it work and it looks so good. Thank you for sharing.
That’s all I can do ❤️. Become a master of making lemonade.
Definitely can relate. I didn't have any edges for a while, back in June, I started using Vick rub on my edges and stayed away from wigs and braids and my edges grew back. Two months my hair grew and my edges. I do recommend Vicks rub for hair growth.
Thanks for sharing this tip❤️ Glad you had success with Vicks Vapor Rub.
Do u leave vicks in or wash out after awhile
Both. After you grease your hair then put some oil in your hair so the smell won't be loud. Another way it can be used is put it in your hair overnight then wash it out.
I love your disclaimer, but Vicks is about to be flying off the shelf 😂. I’m will to give it a try. What else do I have to lose at this point 🙃. 🥰🥰
Hi how is everyone, did you say you used Vicks vapor rub for hair growth, and if so will that help for alopecia to, yes she did that I appreciate it, I just cut mine off, boy cut
