Shaun, since Covid, it’s been difficult to pull myself out of my depression but this video today worked miracles. Your Highlands are transcendently beautiful. Thank you for sharing the miracle that is Scotland. Also, never feel you must cater to us Americans, providing content to specifically appeal to our tastes or interests. Don’t lose sight of who you are and why your channel has garnered the attention it deserves.

Sorry to here this. Polls suggest you aren't alone. To second one point, I'd say the Scotland and the Scottish Highland do a good job speaking for themselves. No need to cater to any particular nationality really.

My ancestors came from Jedburgh and settled in the foothills of the Adirondacks in New York State. The river is just like those in the Adirondacks. I have a thistle in glass right beside me! Thank you for taking us to the Highlands!

I was literally there 4 days ago!! Me and my partner parked up in a passing place and slept there for the night on that exact road off the A82. Beautiful place! Wish I would've stayed longer on the off chance of meeting you Shaun.
I just uploaded a video of our trip to Scotland on my UA-cam channel a few hours ago with pictures of this place in the evening. Stunning!

When we visited Scotland, three springs back, we spent a night in Glen Coe, largely because my wife knew that a number of films had been shot there. Once we were back home, we were pleasantly surprised to see so many scenes in the recent police/murder drama The Loch were also filmed in Glencoe. Funny to pop into a shop to get a drink and then a few months later see a police drama taking place in the same shop.
One of the things that struck me about the Highlands in general is the fascinating land formations along the sides of mountains, where the annual snowcaps had obviously melted and worn gutters down the mountainside over time.
Also unusual to see were the lonely stands of trees; these one-acre forests sitting on the side of an otherwise bald mountain and glen, everything else chewed away by the sheep.

I've been to the Highlands in May to Glencoe/Ft Augustus and fell in love with it. But love ALL of Scotland, been twice. But when you went down to the river it reminded me of our Smoky Mountains in East TN and you need to come see OUR mountains and the little Pigeon River. You can go tubing down it or fish or swim in some places. Clingman's Dome is the highest point in the Smoky Mountains at 6, 643 feet. The views are spectacular. Plus you can pick up the Appalachian Trail there which goes for 2,000+ miles from Georgia to Maine. I think many Scots settled in TN, NC, VA, and West VA due to the mountains reminding them of home. Hate the midges got ya. It WHY we always come in May! Enjoyed your video, Shaun!

I am Brazilian and I live in Aberdeen. My wife and I visited the Highlands two weeks ago and went hiking several times over there. It's just an amazing place and it was an incredible experience.
So, we collect magnets on our fridge remembering us the best places we have been to.
On this specific journey, it was a tremendous struggling to find a magnet from the Highlands. Almost giving up, we found one with a quirky photo of a stone in a loch. In this exact time, I realized: 'I have already seen many magnets so much more beautiful than the real place. Only Scotland cannot put in a picture the superb beauty the mountains depicts'.
    Then we bought the magnet.

Beautiful video Shaun! Thank you! Love day trips. I've never seen such beautiful green landscape with the mountains like that. Our mountains are huge here in the Rockies, but the green doesn't last into August. Scotland has my heart! If I live through this, I'll try to get my daughter to bring me over. Great photography! Love to you and Teka! 💕🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I stopped at a Green Welly in Tyndrum in '09 and bought a cup and brought it home to Idaho. It is still today one of my go to cups that I drink coffee/tea from. Still smile when I glimpse the pictures of all the wee Green Welly caricatures on it. Hopefully I can return soon to check of my bucket list item of kayaking the Etive (hopefully they don't dam it up first). Thanks for the tour and bringing back good memories Shaun, great shots of the Glen Etive scenery.
