@@RetrocartCollector always - really enjoyed this video. Love the idea of not just talking about what you have but what your experiences are playing the games.
I like Fester's Quest! Maybe it's nostalgia talking...I had it as a kid :) But it's one I still play a beat at least one a year! It's a good/fun game! You want the NES Advantage controller! The turbo will save your thumb! :)
That's awesome! It's got some nostalgia for me too so that might be part of it. Totally with the turbo, I run the Four Score with the turbo on when I play it which makes it a ton better.
It really sucks that I missed out on so many NES games as a kid but hopefully I'll get to try some of these out someday. Legendary Wings looked really fun! Hope you're having a good weekend
Well there's always now to get some fun with the NES. Hopefully you can experience some of these games my friend! I'll be doing the next SNES one of these soon, I've been adding to that set with some good ones. I hope your having a wonderful weekend too!
@@RetrocartCollector I can't wait to see what you've got! And I'm having a pretty great weekend, got to go toy hunting yesterday and went and watched the new deadpool movie today
Right! It's got a really cool look to it, but man I get my butt kicked playing that one! At one point I'm sure people saw the graphics on it and thought that was as good as it would ever get.
It's about time festers quest got some love, I've always enjoyed playing operation wolf on the NES & at the Arcade Trojan is one I played a lot back in the day also, great video brother.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks it should get some love! 🤣😂 That’s super cool man, I bet Trojan would have been a good one on Arcade. Thanks brother!
I wish I had the hand eye and pattern memory to be good at Legendary Wings… or any shoot ‘em up for that matter 😂 Maybe that’s why I like Festers Quest, I can blast the enemies and then run away 🤣😂
I still have yet to play Festers Quest lol, I know I have it though….one day. Captain Skyhawk was like marble madness and zaxxon had a baby lol. The only John Elway QB game I played was the Tiger LCD one and as a kid I loved it 😬 Never played legendary wings either. I’m a huge fan of the Rocketeer because of the comics, the movie actually is not bad and our family loves it. I actually like the NES game and I think it’s better than the SNES one 🤷🏼♂️ Great vid my friend, you’re extremely talented! ❤️🎮
Well if you play Festers Quest and don’t like it, you can blame me 🤣. That’s awesome, I miss those old Tiger hand helds, I have some fond memories of checking some out in the stores back in the day. I’ve never read the Rocketeer comics but might have to look them up then. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie and the NES for it. That’s like Festers Quest for me, we all enjoy things differently and that makes for such a cool tapestry of life. 🤙 Thanks brother I really appreciate you saying that! So are you my friend!
@@RetrocartCollector yeah, we traded one of my dad’s coworkers for it. he couldn’t figure it out. at first me and my brother were like “what the heck is this?” but it didn’t take long to figure it out and get hooked. also, double dribble was one of my favorites as well (we didn’t have a lot of games). but double dribble is one that i have CIB now, as well as dragon warrior 1 & 2, super mario 3, and the battle of olympus. we actually had fester’s quest too but i sucked so bad at that game. i still have it right now, maybe i’ll give it another go soon.
Oh snap!! You know how you haven't played a game in a really really long time and it's sitting back there latent in your brain and then it just takes somebody mentioning it for it to all pop up again. Castle quest! I definitely wasn't good at it as a kid and I probably wouldn't be good at it now, but I can't believe I forgot about this game. I vividly remember playing this game with my brother... now that you've mentioned it.
That’s awesome! I have had numerous memories snap back into my brain through this too. That makes me really happy that you had that and could remember those experiences from seeing Castlequest!
As a Blaster Master fan I’ve definitely always never understood the hate for Festers Quest ❤
Same here, Blaster Master is an awesome game, it makes me enjoy Festers Quest more because of the similarities in that top down set up.
One small channel through another some support… subscribed!
Thanks for checking out my video and for subscribing! I subbed to you as well and am excited to see what you have on your channel!
This made me want to play Fester’s Quest
Look at that, bringing the people to Festers Quest, one EPIC friend at a time. Thanks for stopping by brother!

I just got the Retro Bit this week and bought Fester's Quest from my brother. Good memories of that game!
That's awesome! I hope you have fun with it and I'm glad you have good memories of it.

@@NerdLife84 That's awesome, I hope the new Deadpool movie was good and you picked up some awesome toys!
@@RetrocartCollector Yes the new deadpool movie was amazing! And I did a video on my toy hunt if you're curious to see what I picked up
Hey I know this guy!
Hey, I think I've seen you somewhere before!
I like your shirt
Thanks! NES Addict is a great channel so I enjoy sporting his merch! He's an all around awesome dude.
Awesome video, my friend
Thanks for Watching!
Dude, Captain Skyhawk looks cool but it's freaking rough! I didn't know about the Select button to barrel roll. Peppy will love that!

Fester's Quest!!
I’m always down for a Quest with good old Uncle Fester 😂🤣
we traded john elway football for dragon warrior 1, and that’s what started my rpg journey
That’s a good trade! I think it’s super cool that Dragon Warrior started your RPG journey! That’s a great game for a starting point for that!
