13:45 Turkey brined in saltwater for three days then dry-brined in spices for two, with compound butter (butter + seasonings [rosemary, thyme, sage, garlic, bay leaves] stuffed and spread under the skin (which was also rubbed with aleppo pepper, a fruity sort of pepper from Syria) and the cavity stuffed with onions and apples. Sides were char-roasted brussel sprouts with lardons (fried slivers of salt pork), cheesy cornbread with green onions diced up right in the batter and fresh from-scratch cranberry sauce with oranges. Dessert was homemade pumpkin pie.
Pretty tame for South Park standards, but still a hilarious episode. The double entendre with "open your wormhole" always gets me. My three things for dinner are ham, potatoes, and a glass of wine. Happy Thanksgiving Dash!
Here in Canada we've already celebrated our thanksgiving back in early October. But for me thanksgiving dinner is never complete without: butternut squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and of course pumpkin pie for dessert!
This episode came out around the time when there were LOTS of alien shows on the History Channel. Some of the shows were from absolute lunatics that didn't make any sense at all. On the History Channel, of all stations.
This episode is actually 100% truthful to the already established south-park canon. In their 100th episode the aliens revealed that each animal and ethnicity comes from a different planet.
1. Turkey (obviously lol) 2. Mashed potatoes and gravy 3. Stuffing 4. ham 🌟5. Pumpkin pie (my favorite kind of pie 😋) Try not to get creme fraiche everywhere 😂🤣

As a long time Plymouth resident there are two Thanksgiving "stereotypes" that hold true. There are groups of wild turkeys running around, and thousands of acres of cranberry bogs are in Plymouth County. But most of the tourist attractions are man made in modern times. Plymouth rock isn't even big enough for Natalie Portman to hide behind, people are disappointed when they see it.
