I really love how much you have empathy for butters. He’s getting dogged on? You feel bad for him. He displays his innocence? You laugh. He does something as simple as smile after saying “Thanksgiving is about murder?” And you still enjoy it. It’s almost as enjoyable as butters naivety.

That music video Butters is watching is The Jonas Brothers singing about purity rings, a reference to the season 13 season premiere (and is also my favorite episode ever). 13:45 Turkey brined in saltwater for three days then dry-brined in spices for two, with compound butter (butter + seasonings [rosemary, thyme, sage, garlic, bay leaves] stuffed and spread under the skin (which was also rubbed with aleppo pepper, a fruity sort of pepper from Syria) and the cavity stuffed with onions and apples. Sides were char-roasted brussel sprouts with lardons (fried slivers of salt pork), cheesy cornbread with green onions diced up right in the batter and fresh from-scratch cranberry sauce with oranges. Dessert was homemade pumpkin pie.

As a long time Plymouth resident there are two Thanksgiving "stereotypes" that hold true. There are groups of wild turkeys running around, and thousands of acres of cranberry bogs are in Plymouth County. But most of the tourist attractions are man made in modern times. Plymouth rock isn't even big enough for Natalie Portman to hide behind, people are disappointed when they see it.

Happy early Thanksgiving! This year we’re doing a turkey breast with a spicy chili rub, garlic mashed potatoes, white cheddar Mac & cheese, rolls (of course), and a no bake pumpkin cream pie.

It always baffles me when these people try to claim native american ancestry. I know some of the whitest people with blue eyes and all that who say they're a quarter or half. It doesn't make sense to me why anyone would want to unless they're trying to get money or gain minority status. I'm seriously half native American and I just tell people I'm white most of the time since I can pass as it. My mom is a ginger and my dad is from the Montana Crow Reservation.

You didn't seem to know what was going on, so basically : This episode is making fun of the real history channel and how their shows are nonsense. They're the ones who aired the "ancient aliens" show.

The most underrated Butters episode (that comes to mind) is 'Freak Strike' from season six, I think you'd love it

South Park is more esoteric than most would ever know…all truth is hidden in jokes that’s the trick… no one would actually take it serious… why spend all this time and energy and millions of dollars and hours just for throw away gags… this show is a masterpiece
