So it's finally time to replace my almost 15 year old wallet, and I've been hunting for one with card holder but can also hold bills and additional cards in slot... then I found the Vulkit cardholder wallet.
The price is reasonable and it seems to match most of what I'm looking for!

How is it after 1 month of usage? Is it still working fine? How’s the leather after using it? Are the cards secured inside hope they don’t fall out after many opening and closing….

      Thank you for watching!
Yes, the cardholder still keeps 6 card in. The leather still looks like when I bought it. For the price, I'm not expecting this to last long, but so far, it's holding its own.

@@dadstoysnthingsFunny that you're mentioning the price. You should know that all other brands which are sold twice the price of Vulkit has a much higher margin in the first place. Don't get fooled by the higher price, thinking that you'll get better quality. Also some of these brands are manufactured in EU where production costs are higher vs China.

@DusanJotic Yes, and I have a much older card holder from another brand. I can say, it's better in terms of materials and the release mechanism. I kept this Vulkit as it serves the functionality that I need which I haven't found yet in any other brand while costing very little compared to other similar products.

      I myself have a few.
Can't say with confidence that more expensive are of higher quality. E.g. I had 130EUR Tru Virtu which was so bad quality, that after a couple of weeks it looked like I had it for years. Worn out and rusty...
      Cheers!

@DusanJotic Thanks for sharing, I mostly have SecRid, has them for years now and they don't look great anymore, scratches and everything but the mechanism still works like the first day I bought it. Just can't justify the cost anymore.

With digitization, physical cards are hardly used these days, however this wallet would be good for travel if you'r'e carrying notes and coins, etc.

Thanks for the comment. Yes you can pay using your watch or your phone nowadays. There's still a lot of places where this helps.
I brought it to my recent trip in Asia, kept everything compact, handy, and organized inside my sling bag.
And here in Canada, it's my EDC.

It's not the strongest magnet, just enough to keep it close, but only if you don't overfill it.

These wallets are so useless 😂 They have added onto the minimalism of just the card ejector and made it this super thick monstrosity. Feel bad for people who own this

Well it's the only popup wallet with a zipped pocket for coins which are a lot used in europe. When using the pop-up compartiment and the zipped pocket only, it looks still thin enough compared to regular wallets.
I currently have a pop-up wallet without a zipped pocket and it's very annoying daily I always loose my coins so I'll buy this one👍

    • @dadstoysnthings
      @dadstoysnthings  8 місяців тому

@micmotm2479 It will hold a few coins, but right now, I'm using the pocket to store a Samsung Smarttag 2 tracker.

@@dadstoysnthings the reform coin sleeve wallet is better than this in every way. I hve like 5 wallets I got as gifts all better than this. Try distil bifold 5.0 i use one side for coins with all magnets. All these ekster wallet knock offs blow
