Another awesome video! The story I've always heard on the saguaros growing under the shade of a Palo Verde or mesquite is due to birds perched on their limbs and then pooping out saguaro seeds. They call them nurse trees when that occurs. Love the video, keep them coming!
Thank you. That actually does make a lot of sense. Forgot about the birds transporting seeds that way. Very cool. We have a rare spot in the desert near us that has a very small cluster of palms and other plants thriving in it. They think the birds may have done the same there also. Thanks for commenting and watching. Much appreciated.
Amazing video as always! I thoroughly enjoyed your desert walk and the insightful lesson on the different cactus. Tucson's desert is stunning. The "SW slumber jack" bit got me😂. Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to see your next adventure.
This is great. I surely love the vloggers who show really neat things for organization, thats just the gal in me. But I also want to learn how to fix things on my own when I go full time. And dammit, that steak looked so good!!!😋🤤😋❤️👍👍👍
It's fun to do. Plus, if there is a product I find really useful or innovative, I love to share because it may really help some out. Oh yeah! That was definitely one of the better cuts of meat I've found. Soooo good. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I love that campground. So many options for things to do and in such an amazing area. I camped there last year in my little Runaway Coolcamp. I’ll definitely be back!
Thank you for watching again. There is no real need to carry a torque wrench in the emergency kit, it's already heavy enough, haha. It's just the basics to get me back on the road to get to the nearest shop. At home, I definitely use my torque wrench for sure.
This is fantastic. I just got the same trailer as you but mine has lighter wood in it so I still have to learn how to use the Aldi system. I loved your reviews, and the whole bearing thing was great to know took all kinds of notes on your repellent on everything and the big thing is I live in Tucson so I will be watching all of your videos.
Awesome! Another fellow "Zonie" . Very cool, you will love it, everything is pretty simple once you get use to it and know how things work. I'm wondering if you were the person on the Fb T@b page asking about towing with a 400 or 320 with a Tacoma? Think they were also from Tucson. Thank you for watching and commenting. I know you'll love your little T@b.
Great video as usual. I'm hella jealous of your being able to still camp in amazing locations as usual. Lol. I am planning on doing my own bearing service but this first time I'm taking it to nüCamp (in April). I'm also having them swap out the fan for a Maxx Air fan. I am really wanting to make the pilgrimage for the tour and to see Sugarcreek as well so it made sense to have a reason to go. As of next week, December 8th, I'll be at my one year of ownership anniversary. It was a great first year but next year is going to be even better. Thanks for all the tips and great campsite tours.
Thank you. Oh how i wish I lived closer to the factory, that would be cool. You are lucky to be able to take the trailer there. Same here, just past the first year mark. I did plan on repacking my bearings, but figured while they were going to check the other drum, might as well get it done. Next run I'll do it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@DSWadventures Well I live in North Carolina so it's still 8 hours away but still. I am going to make it a week long trip in April and I'll have a couple nights in Sugarcreek to have the tour and eat at all the food places.
Bro, remove that Dielectric grease, its non-conductive so the grease won't let contact between the two connections. Just clean the terminals with electrical clean from CRC. You spray the cleaner, then wipe out. That grease is not to be used for that application. It's to be used where you don't make contact with connectors. Example, AFTER you connect a battery wire to a battery terminal, you add the grease to the OUTSIDE to prevent Corrion to the terminal and wire.
Oh wow! Never knew that. I did clean the 7 pin out with contact cleaner when I got home. The reason I did add it was because I thought I wasn't getting a good electrical connection between plug and the trailer brake grabbing here and there, i had some water in the plug some how that previously caused corrosion. Turns out this whole time, it may have been a defective out of round drum/ hub, causing a pulse lock up on the brake here and there. We will see if the issue comes back. Good looking out, Thanks. 👍
😂 Right, they aren't known for good fuel mileage. But I am sitting slightly lifted on bigger tires with an extra 600 lbs of gear and equipment on the truck. A more stock Tacoma on a stock size tire should see about 12 mpgs at 70 ish mph. At 65 mph, I can get 12-14 mpg and at 55mph 14-15 mpgs on flat low altitude roads with no head winds. In some strange way, it average out on a return trip and isn't too horrible. Maybe 30 more dollars for a 500-mile trip.
The 2200 i does really well for this small air conditioner. In theory you could run the microwave while the air was running also, but that would be the max the generator would push, I actually have not tried running the microwave and the ac at the same time yet. I will have to give that a go soon to see. But other than that, these honda 2200is are perfect for this trailer.
Thank you for the info. What is the highest elevation you ran your ac with the generator? I know generators lose some power as you move up in elevation and I am planning on some mountain trips this summer.
Thanks for all your vlogs. Hope sub levels go up, as you always provide good content. Keep up the good work and safe travels.
I appreciate that. Thank you. Plus it's fun to do.

Love the video!!!!!
Much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I really liked your visit to the movie studio. I have added it to my list of places to see. Your campsite is beautiful.
It's a neat place with a lot of history and a beautiful desert.
LOL ! I was hoping you were going to take us on the train .... Love it ! 👍
I couldn't resist, I had to take the train, haha. Pretty neat.
I really look forward to your videos. Great job.
I appreciate that. Thanks
Nice video!
Thank you.

Yes, it's a very nice place. Those runaways are pretty neat, too.
Enjoyed the detail!
Thank you for watching. It's fun to do.
What you need is a torque wrench to torque your lugs on the truck and camper, it’s important to spec your lugs nuts, great video thanks Brother.

The dude in the white shirt looked like he was tripping hard. Bless his heart. Cool place. I need to add Tuscon Studios to my places to visit list.
Haha. He was a good actor for sure.

Quite the bummer that the Tacoma only gets 9mpg. I have a Tacoma and considered a T@b.

How does the Honda generator work running the AC? Can you power anything else when AC is running?

@ do you have the regular 2200 or the Companion model with the 30 amp plugin?
@charlessyverson2929 just the regular 2200i with 120, plug. Course I have an adapter from 30 amp plug to the 120
@charlessyverson2929 Running the air conditioner and then microwave at the same time may push it over the limited, though.
