Ben is the guy who got me into the game. I’ve been a fan of his since his days at Mizzou and listening to him on FRL describing the process of installing a course on his property got my interest piqued. 2 years later and I’m fully hooked!
Weird comment potentially. But I watched a segment of Troy Aikman breaking down a quarterbacks form, and he mentioned how much of the strength came from the throwing arm hip. I translated that to my forearm and it really helped me add consistency and easy distance to my forearm
I cannot wait to go on our Sunday family game tonight. Scott’s videos have me so damn motivated. Not just a great disc golf teacher, but a great teacher in general. Protect this man at all costs!

False modesty is a sign of incompetence. When you're good, you know you're good. I agree with you Scott, you are currently the world's best teacher of disc golf. Especially in FH. No one else even comes close.
Mr. Stokely, don't know you personally, but only as a legend from my youth. When I was younger it was always "Stokley did ..." and always with reverence. As an old geezer I am turning my attention back to disc golf. Thanks for the videos. Best of luck to you as well.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I recently injured my knee twisting off a backhand and kinda scared to do it again so at 46, developing a sidearm is a must for my future enjoying this sport.
One thing Scott has proven in his side arm is longevity, which is a notoriously injury-prone throwing motion. For anyone 30 and older, that is worth its weight in gold.
Scott came to Burns Park long ago and I lent him a mini marker for the event. He proceeded to destroy MPO like the true giant of the game he remains. Thank you for the clinics. Thanks for the positivity. Thanks for signing the mini :)
Thank you, Scott. Before today, my sidearms were solely for my within 150 ft. upshots. I watched this video before I went out and played a round today and just applying that simple adjustment of the elbow added a good 100 feet to my previously pathetic sidearm. I actually shot from the tee with a sidearm, something I very rarely do, as I'm usually relying on backhand turnovers, and I freaking parked a 280 ft hole! I was sitting on the fence about taking your classes but no more. Thanks again.
I see a trend... the student not believing you can teach them in under 15 minutes, then the amazement at their improvement. I'm super new to this, playing for about 5 weeks. I was thinking about taking some friends and their kids to play in Spring. If you had 15 minutes to teach a kid (or an adult) to throw before playing a casual par 3 recreation course, how would you do that? Stay safe out there, and happy travels.
I would love to get a coaching from Scott. I get elbow pain and I can't do anything about it because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I just focus on throwing the disc down in the fairway.. I'm in EU, Estonia. Scott doesn't do coaching here :(
I will be doing clinics in Estonia this year when the European Tour comes through. I also have my 6 month online class that is the best way to get coaching from me.
I know Askren probably has some limitations, but he's a coordinated, athletic guy. I'm glad you were able to let him grow his game. He obviously loves it.

Stokely IS the best sidearm thrower in the sport!!! If in doubt, watch his throw on #15 in the skins match!
