Watched the We Got The Moves video, and thought, "nothing cant be funnier than this" then I saw the "making of..." and realized I was wrong. How much fun do this guys have while working? Man Im jelous
I adore them for being so down-to-earth and including overseas fans by providing subs, but you could NEVER translate their goofiness into another language - a thing I feel so spectacularly sorry about. I'm pretty sure there's lots of bands that arrive on set "just like that" and do their thing, but I believe that EC will always be wanting to do their thing themselves and that's so admirable nowadays tbh. Great video btw!
I'm a bit sad that some of the puns and trashtalk got lost in translation. Still loved your reaction, I learned quite some things. Would love to see more behind the scenes, keep it up :)
now, after having watched so many reactions to song videos, and eskimo callboy songs lately, i have to say, you are by far the best of them all. I love your point of view, with your own experience in the field, knowing bands, having worked with them, know the music, and equipment. All the information and comparisons you do are so valuable for an curious outsider like me, who just freshly got into eskimo callboys songs :)
The camera op had an Elgato StreamDeck as part of his setup, for on-the-fly changes through a computer. That's insanely creative and I can't believe I never thought of it.
I always thought that bands are not really involved in all the prepping for a video, like building the set etc. and just arrive to filming when everything is set up. But these guys are so hands-on. In the making of of the Hypa Hypa video, you can see that they even built the Hypa Hypa sign themselves. I like it, it feels like they are involved in the entire process, not "just" the shooting of the video.
Yeah, it's really hit and miss. Some bands are also super hands on, when others just leave it up to the production teams to do everything and just come in and film.
I think a different approach of "getting the fans included" is the VLOG of Sabaton of their Great Tour, where they filmed inside the tour bus, they recorded the stage buildup including details of the kilogramms of pyro for the whole tour, the showed the sound checks, the warm up in the dressing room. Also a nice "behind the scenes" and we all now you like Sabaton!!!
Just wanna say THANK YOU, Tank. I'm so happy I discovered your channel around 6 months ago (thanks to Hypa Hypa... yes, I'm very late to the EC-party :D ). Greetings from Germany
I love the fact that you mentioned Kami Zero. His work is simply AMAZING. I'm following him probs nearly for 10 years now and he does such amazing stuff! And like all the others: Yes to more of that kind of reactions!
whoop whoop Tank!!! I sooooo hoped anyone would do a reaction to one of the "making-of"s. And now it is done by the one who fits most. As a Roadie, you know what it takes to prepare shows, to manage tech and equipment. And, perhaps, to not screw it because of hillarious moments? Who knows?
and not disapointed. You WERE the right one, you even could not resist the headbob and spotted so many things. Please also react to the making ofs to the hypa hypa videos and also to the mentioned my mother told me by saltatio mortis. Great stuff. Oh, and make sure EC sees this, so you can get them to call you, once they need a roadie for the us tour, where you can do some on-the-road-bts live reactions.
Add the fact there is a pandemic going on ,the fact they got everything they needed in such fine detail makes it so much more impressive. Love these behind the scenes videos
I really enjoyed this Tank. Would definitely like to see more of these kind of reaction videos. Really interesting - particularly when your reactions include your own knowledge and experiences. Keep up the great work!
Yes I enjoying this Kind of stuff, background stuff, Making of's and like saltatio mortis do Video Tour diary. It's very interesting how it works in such a rear collision and what belongs there. 🔥🥰Want more such content 🥰🔥
We have some 5000 W fixtures in our theater, but they are not used anymore, we work with 2000 and 1000 only. Our national TV once came to shoot a performance, and they brought two 5000 W fixtures to light the scene from up and behind - it was quite warm to stand under them. :)
yes!! Thank you so much for this reaction.😍 I always Like Your comments and notes. If you Like behind the scenes stuff Rammstein did a few, also verY interesting making of Videos. 😍
So I watch your videos quite a while, without commenting... But now, I got the the mood, to tell you what I think about them:-D The way you are doing your videos, always gives me a smile on my face. Just want to say, that (also as an pyro technician and event engineer) the way you are explaining and summaring things is so entertaining and informative. There are a lot of things I already know, a lot of things I love to recognize again but also so much i didn’t even remember or even know… I Love that…Awesome…. Keep it up
Perfect video bro!!! I rarely see a video that doesnt have at least one dislike (at the time i watched it)!!! So yea its clear that you should do more of these!!! Keep up the quality reaction vids!!!!
Alot of people saying germans don`t have humor. Well... this is a prime example that should prove those claims wrong. Also, just seeing them interact makes clear they not only love and enjoy what they are doing, but are having fun with each other. Thats something they have in common with Feuerschwanz. I think loving what you do, taking themselfs not to serious and liking each other creates kind of a working environment that really helps creating enjoyable music. In terms of the music: you have to give MAD props to the writer of these songs. They don`t just throw stuff together. On paper, even I might not think it should work, but they are so creative and good that it does work very very well. Managing this not on one occation but on several: yeah, thats why it`s called art.
The making of as great as the song itself. Awesome react once again! BTW Feuerschwanz just released a new song called "untot Im Drachenboot" yesterday. Would love to see a react around here
Watched this before you even reacted to it and loved seeing all the processes so hopefully you can't do more of these in the future! The guys are hilarious haha.
I have to admit, it´s a lot more fun if you understand what they´re saying, they speak in a hilarious way. But I really enjoy Behind the Scenes, and you obviously have some things to add, so I enjoy your reactions too! ^^
Just saw they're gonna be in California in October. Attack Attack is opening, never really got into them, but idk I might be the awkward mid 30s traditional metal head at that show.
It´s always fun to see your reactions =) They also have "making of" vids for Hypa Hypa (original and Saltatio Mortis and I think Sasha but i´m not sure), MC Thunder II and Hate/Love they are absolutely fun too.. Edit: The Dark Side of the Moon have a "making of" video too =)
Making ofs are on the same level as it'S music videos in my opinion. To see what you think about all the stuff in the video, is just as interesting as you enjoying a new music video! So I would like to see more of this stuff! Maybe some making ofs from Rammstein Music videos. They're so fking interesting :D
I love seeing BTS stuff. Especially with things like big budget films and music- I love seeing how the hundreds of different little parts come together to make the whole. Especially when there's elements you may have never thought of. I dig the vid dude, keep them coming. 🤘😝🤘
Hi man! I really like the way you approach the video, trying to forge some interesting information about the group and everything like that. Check out the MOTANKA band. This is a team from Ukraine, like JINJER they are signed to Napalm Records. But they play folk metal, which is not so popular these days (in my opinion). Good luck!
Feuerschwanz has a lot of Making Of Videos. Even for Ding. Well I always end up in tears laughing seeing this. I really enjoy your Videos. And this one was a nice surprise.
This is LIT 🔥have you checked out the guys, Eskimo Cowboy reacting to people watching and reacting to we got the moves? That’s fun. What a great video. I can’t even imagine the hours, days and weeks it took to get everything together before they started filling. Everything is perfect.
I love your videos every time 😁. Thank you so much for your awesome content with perfect music. Can you try Caliban with their song "Intoleranz". That would be so sick. Greetings from Germany
Hey Tank! I just realized you seem to never have reacted to a Brothers of Metal song yet. They just released a new song “Kaunaz Dagaz” they do some insanely funny Power Metal. As a fan of Feuerschwanz and Saltatio Mortis i love them and i’m sure you will too. (All english lyrics).
11:30 - didn't Kami Zero also play the flamboyant make-up artist (the one who brings the accordeon etc.) in WBTBWB's version of Hypa Hypa? His facial hair looks EXACTLY like that of his.
Realy nice video, i am looking forward to january cause i can go and see them live again. Please check out the new song of Russkajak "Russki Style" at Napalm Records. They are awesome and the avicci cover from russkaja ist one of my favorites. Grüße aus Deutschland!
Eskimo Callboy's videos are extremely awesome and entertaining. Even their making of. Also your reaction video on it. This is a concept you should keep running. Question: you said a few weeks ago in a comment, that you are totally in to Threat Signal. Do you also follow Jon Howards side projects? Because he just released a new single with "Exit the Earth" round about a week ago. Maybe you wanna check it out. 😊🤘🏻😎
Yup. We did a listening party to the entire EP on my Twitch channel and that one blew me away. I mean, they all did, but that song is an absolute epic.
I just love these guys, they´re just normal fckd up dudes having fun and not some arrogant Idiots. They know how to handle social media and especialy yt. And as a German to understand every word of what they´re saying is just pure bliss, there´s so much funny slang that is lost in translation :D
i really wanted to know why they chose the US cop outfits and car. that part immediately stood out to me. everything else in the video screams germany. it's probably a waste of time to think about that, since it's all so random anyway. :D
To get a German Police Car its so much paper work its not worth it as only big film companies have it a bit easier. And making a fake one with fake uniforms is forbidden with some exceptions. I think thats the reason, german burocratie at its best^^
Hi Tank. It's October now, so it won't take long for the Christmas season to start. I'm not sure if you're planning any Christmas-y content on your channel, but seeing as you did "Valhalleluja" last year, you might be game. So my suggestion would be to react to "Patty Gurdy feat. Fiddler's Green - The Yule Fiddler (Christmas Time Is Coming 'Round Today)" that came out last year (video at ua-cam.com/video/ZqesZeoiE6I/v-deo.html on Patty's channel). Patty Gurdy is a young German hurdy gurdy player (hence the stage name) and singer pursuing a solo career, but also collaborating with tons of bands and people from the German folk / medieval music scene, like Feuerschwanz, Subway to Sally or dArtagnan (Ben Metzner's second band), plus others (she worked for Ayreon recently IIRC). For this song she's playing with Fiddler's Green, a German folk band doing what they call "Irish speed folk". They've been around for 30 years, they are from Erlangen (like Framus and Feuerschwanz), and actually, some of their members also played for Feuerschwanz in 2004 or so when that band was still brand new. So bottom line is, all these bands and musicians know each other quite well. The song is an Irish folk style Christmas song, in English, no metal, only acoustic instruments (including drums), and it sounds great. The song is not a parody or such, it's beautiful and heartwarming in the best possible way without being sappy or cheesy at all. Or, as one of the top comments for that video reads, "First Christmas song in about ten years that didn't made me want to kill myself." :-) The video is great too, it's Patty and the band performing the song, shot in an Irish pub in Bayreuth, Germany. You might recognize the bartender :-) I think if you like the folky stuff like you say you do, you would _love_ that song. So you might want to give it a thought.
A "U.S. 2020 tour" might be difficult without a time machine, even with one really. Haha just messing with ya. These guys would be a lot of fun to see live so yeah I hope they make their way to the states soon.
In the video you can also see the people from push Art. This is a German UA-cam channel, which help with the Makeup in so many Videos from German youtuber. Sorry my English is not the best or as we say in Germany the yellow of the egg. 😂
Hoi, when you’re so much into german Bands, plz listen to Hämatom, for the beginning i would say „i want it all“ (queen cover) with hansi kürsch, the voice of blind guardian 💪🏻🤘🏻👍🏻🍻. P.s. VG rulez but its hard to get down here in germany 😅🙈
Watched the We Got The Moves video, and thought, "nothing cant be funnier than this" then I saw the "making of..." and realized I was wrong. How much fun do this guys have while working? Man Im jelous
After watching your reaction to a Making of-vid I just wanna say: More, just gimme me more! 🙂
Oh fuck yeah, let's do it again!
@@TankTheTech 😁
yeah, you should do the "baba yaga making of" that was hilarious :D

"It's a wrap!" or German "Drehschluss!" is indeed the best thing one can hear on a movie set. Been there, done that. :D
I like the way your head bop starts as soon as the beat fires up.

I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but they just announced a US 2022 tour, and I’m super stoked
I literally live like 10 Minutes away from Lünen... I still can't get my head around the fact that it is mentioned in internationally watched videos.
